Korrak's Revenge is a Fantastic Way to Level Alts Above Level 60
Want to level your alts before Patch 8.3 or Shadowlands? The 15th Anniversary Event, Korrak's Revenge, is a fantastic way to level alts above level 60. This Anniversary event allows players to level characters from 110 to 120 with Heirlooms in less than 3 hours, so log in, celebrate WoW's 15th Anniversary and get your characters to max level.
Before You Begin
Before you step into Korrak's Revenge, make sure that you have the following:
full set of Heirlooms
from the Honorbound / 7th Legion vendor
You can also do the following to increase your gains even further:
for an additional 50% / 100% bonus experience, if you have them.
All experience gains below are calculated using a set of heirlooms,
. If you have any more experience gains, it will be slower or faster.
Depending on what do you do while in queue, the outcome of the games you play and some other factors, it should take
less than 3 hours
to go from 110 to 120. If you optimize, you can probably get it as low as 2 hours. You will level much faster if your team wins, or at the very least comes close to winning.
Every minute, on the minute
, that you spend in Korrak's Revenge, you will gain
~3.5% of a level (~30k experience for level 110+)
. Whether you're trying to backcap to save your towers, pushing forward with your team on Offense, or capping Snowfall Graveyard, you are rewarded for celebrating WoW's 15th Anniversary and being a helpful member of your team. Even if you're in the mines, collecting supplies (for whatever reason since they nerfed the mines quests), you're still rewarded.
In other words, for every 30 minutes that you spend in Korrak's Revenge, you'll gain about a full level for participating in the Battleground from the passive experience.
End of Game Bonus
When the game ends due to one of the Generals falling, all players get an end of game bonus.
If your team wins, you'll gain
~100% of a level
If your team loses, you'll gain
~50% of a level
Make sure to stick out the game, even if you're losing, as 50% of a level is still a massive amount of experience. But try your best to win as winning awards even more experience! If you manage to kill the General, it's really fun to watch everyone in the room have the level up animation at the same time.
the majority of quests in Korrak's Revenge daily. While that doesn't matter if you're planning on level from 110-120 in 3 hours, if you're going from 60-120, you'll probably get multiple uses out of these quests.
These daily quests will reward
~20% of a level
, per quest. Here are a list of the daily quests.
- Collect 20
and bring them to your base.
This is the only quest that must be turned in, before the battle completes, as leaving the Battleground will cause you to lose
- Click the flag at an enemy tower or bunker.
- Click the flag at an enemy graveyard.
- Capture a Mine.
can be particularly difficult as only the person who completes the channel will get quest credit. However, if you can find a party, one party member clicking the flag will complete the objective for all players in the party.
There are 4 towers in Alterac Valley. For every tower that your team destroys, you will gain
~7% of a level (~60k experience for level 110+)
. Make sure to get on Offense and defend those towers from any backcappers.
This means that even if you're losing try to get as many towers as you can before you lose!
