Fan Casting Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Nathanos Blightcaller for the Arthas Movie

The
fan imagined Arthas movie
has been the gift that keeps on giving, as fans continue to envision the perfect actors suited to play various World of Warcraft characters. The latest fan casting has chosen none other than
Jeffrey Dean Morgan
to portray Nathanos Blightcaller!
Known for a
wide range of roles
, including
Supernatural
,
Grey's Anatomy
,
Watchmen
, and most recently
The Walking Dead
, Morgan not only has a suitable likeness to Nathanos Blightcaller, but is also very familiar with playing the gruff yet likeable characters with a dark sense of humor.
The comments section provide a handful of other casting ideas, including
Danny DeVito as Gallywix
(
"Can I offer you some Azerite in this trying time?"
) and
Sean Bean as Uther the Lightbringer
, although fans previously embraced the idea of
Mark Hamill portraying Arthas Menethil's ill-fated mentor
.
While these are just fan concepts with absolutely no indication that any movie is in the works or may ever be made, it's a lot of fun to think about what could be.
Blizzard devs
and even
Henry Cavill
himself have voiced their approval of the ideas, but it takes a lot more than that to make a movie for the big screen. Perhaps one day it will become a reality, or
Activision-Blizzard Studios
will take a crack at making an animated series, but for now it's just a dream.
