We're happy to announce that our
ElvUI Guide
has undergone an overhaul to account for major features added in recent development patches, like Module Control.

Elv User Interface (ElvUI) provides a comprehensive, efficient, and fully customizable user interface replacement for World of Warcraft. Nearly all aspects of the original Blizzard UI are skinned to provide a cohesive appearance, including action bars, unit frames, raid frames, nameplates, chat frame, and most in-game menus. Additionally, these newly skinned frames provide greater customization than the base UI in both appearance and functionality allowing for more information to be displayed and manipulated to improve your play. In this guide we'll cover

Module Control
A recent feature to ElvUi,
Module Control
allows you to transfer settings of specific UI elements or modules between different profiles without overwriting the entire profile.

Nameplates
The
nameplates section
of the ElvUI guide was completely rewritten, with a lot more customization added via Style Filters.
For optimal performance in any role, you'll likely be required to manage buffs, debuffs, health percentages, interrupts, etc. on a large quantity of enemy players or monsters. Being able to quickly make optimal target and ability selections to counter your opponents is paramount to achieving victory whether it's against players or NPCs. Nameplates provide a method to quickly monitor a large number of players or NPCs overall statuses without having to mouseover them for a tooltip or target them individually. ElvUI takes nameplates a step further with comprehensive customization and robust Style Filter options added in the latter part of Legion.
