Darkmaul - Twelve Days of Mounts: Day 3
Welcome to day three of our special Twelve Days of Mounts series! With the holidays upon us, we are doing a series of highlights on easy to collect mounts added in Shadowlands.
Did you know that Shadowlands is going to be the expansion that has added the most mounts to the game? With 138 mounts already added as of 9.1.5, and at least another 40 expected for Patch 9.2.
Shadowlands Mount Guide
With so many mounts to collect, we decided to highlight some of the easiest mounts to obtain that were added with Shadowlands, for players looking to do something different during their holiday break.
Maelie, the Wandering Arden Doe
Darkmaul is a Shardhide mount, one of the models added in Chains of Domination. Darkmaul has a purple and magenta color scheme. To obtain this mount, you must feed
in Korthia over the course of several days.
To feed Darkmaul, you must loot
s scattered through Korthia. These mushrooms can usually be found within small jumping puzzles like on top of trees and bone formations.
Once you have a Tasty Mawshroom, all you'll need to do is bring it to Darkmaul, who's sleeping at a den in the Northern portion of Korthia, and feed it to him! Once Darkmaul is successfully fed, you will be able to ride him for 2 minutes. You can turn in all mushrooms needed in a single day and you can cancel the 2 minute ride time if you want so. Below you can see Darkmaul's location.
Invasive Mawshrooms are treasures you can loot in Korthia, which provide players with Stygia, Archivist's Codex reputation, and items. There are five Mawshrooms players can loot every day. You can also find
inside them. Each color in the map below represent a possible location of one of the Mawshrooms that can be looted per day.
Once you feed Darkmaul 10
, you will receive him as your new mount!
