Battered Hilt Dropping from All Icecrown Mobs Including Pre-Patch Rares

WoW gold farmers have discovered that the
残破的剑柄
, used for the Quel'Delar weapons, now drops in Icecrown including pre-patch rares and regular mobs in the zone. Prior to the Shadowlands pre-patch event, this only dropped from mobs in the three Icecrown dungeons on Heroic mode.

The Shadowlands pre-patch event will end when the expansion goes live, but in the meantime, you have several weeks of widespread drop sources. If you are farming

in Icecrown, seeing the
残破的剑柄
drop may be a nice perk. They are usually expensive on the Auction House, so the price may go down if more people come across them during the event.
Finishing the questline and recovering Quel'Delar awards you the achievement
