As of typing up this post, this mission is assuredly broken. When you receive it, only Rukhran is a present opponent, and three followers that counter his threats will display 100% chance. If you relog (I restarted the game, reloading wasn't enough), Ranjit will appear, but countering his threats won't influence the displayed success chance. Finally, when the mission completes, you will watch your followers have a swing at Rukhran only.

Therefore, if you are seeing the same behavior, I believe it is safe to treat the mission as if Rukhran is the only opponent. The game seems to do it anyway, so you can probably trust a stated 100% chance even if it doesn't look like it should have one.

Requires 615 ilvl followers, but still only gives exp as reward. An obvious design flaw, this mission is pointless.
