I was able to beat it with Dreamweaver on level 34 and 4 Ardenweald Trappers on lvl 34. The reward is Highwind Darkmane.
Dreamweaver on back row, left spot. Works even better if Dreamweaver is on back row, right spot (thanks ERNDNC)

As Kyrian ventureplan predicts
Pelodis(41) Kleia(41) Pelagos(41)
Teliah(39) Mikanikos(28)
would result in failure with 47 remaining enemy health, so guessing that layout but with one or two extra levels would do it.

EDIT: Sent off to test, forsworn war captain survived on 47 health
EDIT2: With Mikanikos 29, ventureplan says 33 remaining enemy health.
LAST EDIT: Now have Pelodis 42, Pelagos 42, Mikanikos 30, success with Pelodis, Teliah and Mikanikos scraping survival

Note: (very close call! only Meatball and Emeni managed to stay allive with like 5-10%hp)

As a Night Fae, I won this after the Trapper nerf quite comfortably with the following setup:
Meatball(45) - Chalkyth(46) - Kota(46)
Te'zan(43) - Dreamweaver(46)

Only Meatball and Chalkyth died while the others came out with like 300 HP remaining each. I suppose it could be done with lower level followers, or an optimized setup.

Optimal Venthyr set up.

Using cairnexus's Rahel (39), Ayeleth (38), Draven (35) - Nadjia (40), Stonehuck (35)
and Vovchique's Meatball (41) Theotar (42) Draven (34) - Nadjia (42) Stonehuck (30)

I explored all combinations using the brilliant Venture Plan Addon and came up with the best surviving healthpool with the following set up, and although quite high levels, should scale down the best ...

Rahel(47) | Nadjia (46) | General Draven(38)
Theotar 46 | Kaletar (43)

Surviving health pools:
Rahel - 1258 / 1995
Nadjia - 910 /1843
General Draven - 958 / 2400
Theotar - 0 / 1400
Kaletar - 1258 / 1590

Although Kaletar , Nadjia , General - Rahel, Theotar ends with a slightly lower overall health pool, it does have Theotar surviving and a more evenly distributed remaining health.

Switching in Stonehead or Dug as tanks also works and I even started with Draven at < 1000 health

Although switching Stonehuck in instead of Theotar was close

Kyrian Victory: Successful on the first attempt! Approved by Venture Plan.

The only companion to die was Nemea.

I tried this previously with Pelagos in the bottom left and Teliah in the top right. This ended with a massive failure for me and shows as unpredictable by venture plan. Other comments have shown success with this strat, so I won't say that it does not work, but it is more RNG heavy.

Should be the strongest Setup for Kyrian.
Idk the Levels of the other ones but Kosmas was at 23.
Kleia and Pelagos should be at least 40 tho.

Night Fae success:

Sha'lor (46) - Korayn (46) - Kota (45)
Lloth'Wellyn (44) - Dreamweaver (47)

Attempts at lower levels were unsuccesful for me with various setups. Sha'lor and especially Lloth'Wellyn will blast the top right mob hard and then the War Captain will get that attack off once, and then get destroyed by the huge focus fire.

Shalor and Korayn died (after war captain died), rest survived.

Night Fae 52 quick win in 9.0.5:

Trapper, Trapper, Loth'weylln
Spore of Mirasmius, Dreamweaver

Completes in 7 rounds at near 90% health for all. This combination was quick to take out the elite captain as both Mirasmius and Loth'wellyn are hitting on her by the 3rd round.

Night Fae, managed to do it even though my TLDR addon told me it couldn't do it, Might have been the level settings. Messed around with some of the set ups suggested on here, and played around a little based on what I had leveled up vs. what was suggested.

First row was Tezan (51), Korayn(50), Lloth'wellyn(39), Second row was Ella(39), Dreamweaver(38)

Tezan, Ella and Lloth'wellyn survived, with Tezan and Ella at pretty high health still! I was so worried I wouldn't be able to beat this mission and have it fail or expire, such a relief this worked!
