First 2H caster mace since 正义力量之锤. While I am pleased at the return of variety, I am a little surprised to see that this weapon has no Spirit, given the specs (hpally, esham, rsham, moonkin, rdruid) that will be using it.

It's kind of a shame that monks cannot use 2h maces. This would actually quite nice for mistweavers. It does seem somewhat odd that there's no spirit on this thing, considering that all the dps classes that can/want to use an int 2h mace gain hit rating from spirit. It's nice for a change of pace, but give it a little more thought on the stat allocation next time, blizz.

Not sure why Blizzard made this a healer/caster mace, given that it perfectly matches Warrior T15... The worst part, as far as the LFR version is concerned, is that Blizzard mixed up the Normal and LFR maces, meaning this (LFR version) of the mace matches Normal Warrior T15, and the Normal version of this mace matches the LFR Warrior T15. Unless Blizzard makes a mistake and puts this on the loot table for Warriors from the LFR Failbag, which is where it will be obtained from, we warriors will never have a chance to obtain the version of this mace that matches our Normal T15 tier gear.

Edit: It's amusing how childish some people are. Nowhere in this post does it say that I am opposed to the idea of 2h caster maces, the only thing it says is that this particular weapon matches Warrior T15 gear (and it does, if you can't see it you're blind) and it's a shame that it's not itemized for strength classes, because of that particular fact. Downraters on posts like this are either trolls or whiney babies who think that anything except for abject praise is outright condemnation. Grow up.

According to Wowpedia, this item is shared boss loot from bosses in Throne of Thunder.

I just received this off the first boss of Throne of thunder, via a bonus roll. I was rather shocked to not see this on loot tables it seems there are some shared items dropped via bonus rolls.

In addition to the normal drops off LFR Tortos, Megaera, and Ji-kun, there are several items that have a chance to drop off any of these bosses or the others in ToT, because it is shared on all of their loot tables. This item, Invocation of the Dawn, being one of them.

Other weapons that share the loot table in LFR for these guys include (with primary stat listed after):
--Note all weapons have an open yellow socket. Except the 2H intel mace, which has no sockets--

Jerthud, Graceful Hand of the Savior - 1H Mace (Intelligence)
Nadagast's Exsanguinator - Dagger (Intelligence)
Do-tharak, the Swordbreaker - 1H Sword (Strength)

Compare this item to the alternative 拓烙，碎裂王座之锤 plus 托多斯的废弃甲壳 including 165 int enchant, the 2H mace is clearly inferior.

425 int, 1033 spirit, 610 haste if gemming for throughput (or 265 int, 1353 spirit, 610 haste if gemming for regen)
vs.
2 spellpower, 901 mastery, 799 crit, 108 stamina

This is the worst loot u can get and a total waste of a mogu coin, i think blizz owes those of us who won it a refund or one of the other (actual useful) loots that could have dropped
