Sounds like a flying book to me. Like the Lofty Libram.
EDIT: 3D viewer opened, def is a flying book.
My new team will be this pet, Enchanted Broom and Festival Lantern. :)
This pet will be released as the common loot from the WoW TCG Expansion "Betrayal of the Guardian". The official release date is mid February 2013.

It learns the following abilities at the listed levels.
The grimoire gets the same ability but a fel green version.
Amplify Magic and Curse of Doom will be a fun combo!
So I got this loot card today and I got excited. BUT when I flew down to BB to redeem it .. well .. there.. there... was no selection for Betrayal of the Guardian. So I thought well maybe its under something else. I checked it all and nothing /cry I want my book! I need help
This pet currently becomes uncommon quality when learned, but don't despair. Cory Stockton has confirmed this is a bug. Here's his tweet from March 5: @WarcraftPets It's a bug, we will hotfix soon.
I am really upset.as I was apparently stupidly under the impression that the Floating Spellbook and the Gusting Grimoire were two distinct pets. The two cards sure look different. Why make two loot cards that are the same thing then? Sure, they're both books, I was down with that. I honestly thought though they were not the same exact redemption item. Oh well, hopefully someone will want to buy my silly level 5 Gusting Grimoire I already have in the AH. I feel like a sucker though and definitely learned a lesson here. Sigh. Anyway, cheers to all of my fellow pet collectors! I just love these little companions =^..^=
I bought the card and tuerned in the code at tcg, but when I went to Landro, he wouldn't accept the full code I got back from tcg. Am I doing something wrong?
Well what can i say im deeply greatful. In the 11 years i have played wow since its release i have never recieved anything that i haven't earnt, quested for or spent a lot of time and effort grinding out, so when i got an email saying i had won a Gusting Grimoire from wowheads BlizzCon 2015 Giveaway from a sender that my email account warned "Be careful! This sender has failed our fraud detection checks". I was a little cautious.
I tentatively read through the email and then carefully followed the instructions, making sure i never willingly offered any sensetive or personal details about me or my account and proceeded to enter codes given to me in the email. I checked wowhead for comments about the item, i checked blizzards redemtion page was authentic and even created a new character on a new trial account to claim the item.
I am happy to say that i am now, albeit very unexpected, the very proud owner of a gusting grimoire. Thank you to wowhead and especially Stephen "Sas148", Community Support Coordinator.
mount looks great, I'm far more interested in the
mount from the BlizzCon 2019 Giveaway.
Having said that, I would't turn down one of the toys
, or any of the pets such as
(depending on faction).
Must confess that a couple of the items aren't that appealing to me, e.g.
