Once one character reaches revered with the Tillers, this item will be available from the Tiller Quartermaster, and it will effect all characters on that account when used, including the character who is revered, so the path to exalted will be less painful. Coming in patch 5.1.

New Grand Commendation items in Mist of Pandaria:

Alliance.

Horde.

Neutral (Both Alliance and Horde).

These Faction items are available for patch 5.1 except the Sunreaver and Krin Tor ones that are available for patch 5.2, you must be Revered with each faction if you want to buy this item.

阡陌客大奖章 is sold by 阡陌客 Quartermaster, 吉娜·泥爪, for 37g50 at revered, 35g at exalted with /// 42g50 at revered, 38g at exalted without . The Quartermaster is located in Valley of the Four Winds, either at the Halfhill market or on your farm (if you're best friends with her and have asked her to join you on the farm).

NB: This affects only 阡陌客 faction reputation, not "friendship" rep with the individual Tillers.

Grand Commendations becomes available for purchase at Revered reputation with a faction. The gain will affect that character's grind from Revered to Exalted as well as all future toons on that account (both factions, all realms, all battle.net accounts) for all rep levels, forever. The bonus stacks with both guild and human rep bonuses, doubling the amount of rep received after they are applied.

For example, a quest that gives a 250 base reputation gain (like this one) will give: 250 rep + 25 (guild) + 25 (human) = 300 rep * 2 (Grand Commendation) = 600 total rep

The item can be purchased and used more than once, but multiple uses will have no effect, so buyer beware. In order to see whether your account has a particular reputation bonus, open up the reputation tab of your character pane; reputations with the bonus will have a golden arrow on the right side of the reputation bar. Mousing over this golden arrow will reveal the text: "Bonus Reputation: Your account has unlocked bonus reputation gain with this faction." (updated for 5.2)

I bought it today but I did not see a big jump in my rep bonus when I turned in a few tiller quests with another character. I would ASSUME that I would not have to carrying this in my alts inventory when turning in a quest...
The only one rep that I remember is 54 rep for picking a plant...

YOU NEED TO RIGHT CLICK AND USE THE COMMENDATION. Otherwise, it just sits there in your pack and your alts get no extra rep... When I finally figured this out, the rep bonus is very obvious and shows up whenever it is used. For instance, picking a crop shows till rep 160 (+55 bonus rep).

Once this item is purchased you must click on it to use it. You do NOT get the double rep by just having it in your bags.

Appears to be a permanent bonus. I have gone 5 days and a weekly resets and still have this.

Works from as soon as you hit revered on ANY character and affects ALL characters. If you have multiple quests to hand in and hit revered while doing so, buy this BEFORE you hand in any more as subsequent quests will benefit from this.

For 50g base price, this is the biggest bargain in the game, especially as you will have rep discount applying by the time you can afford it. Hell, I'd be happy if it was 500g and didn't get discounted! I don't mind rep grinding, but I'm not gonna object if they make it easier after the first char, but not hand it to you on a silver platter. Also, kinda makes sense ... 'oh, you know such-and-such character? you must be all right ... but you still need to prove yourself to us a bit!'

I can confirm that this thing does not share model with several gloves, as stated here by wowhead.

This is less for the first character you have doing this (though it will certainly speed your way from Revered to Exalted) and more for any Other Alts for whom you attempt to earn rep with the related faction. They will earn ALL rep from a faction for which you've applied a Commendation at double rate from Neutral on up to Exalted for all other alts.

Is this commendation of any use after I reach exalted with the tillers?

Also, can it help with the reputation with all the "friends" under the tillers (chee chee, ella, jogu, sho etc.)?

Or is it something safe to dump?

Might anyone be able to tell me, does this double the rep gained from harvesting? I would assume it does as it doesn't say "100% rep bonus from quests and monsters" or the like but would just like clarification.

I bought this on my ally character and now I am doing dailies on horde character. Horde character doesn't always receive this bonus rep. For instance, I get 110 rep from harvesting and 330 for daily (the one that has 275 basic rep). I once get 605 rep. Guess I'm gonna ticket. Anyone having the same issues?

Does this affect alts that are under level 90 or apply to alts created after using it? Let's say I use the Grand Commendation in January. Then later create a new mage in Feb. Does the mage get the bonus or do I have to get the mage to lvl 90 first and use it again?
What does bonus Rep gain do? If one of my characters hits lvl90 and meets the Tillers a month after an Exalted Alt uses it, does that mean Rep for that character is already Exalted and all the Rep required items are unlocked? Thanks.

Here's my question: I have two accounts. Blizzard managed to join them both to my email, which allows alts on my second account, to have the same mounts as my primary account.

Would having this, allow any of my alts on any of my accounts, to have bonus rep with The Tillers?

Sometime in Legion/BFA the gold arrow/icon showing your account had the commendation unlocked was removed. I am uncertain if this was intentional or an error, but I confirmed today (after much gold spent in vain) that my Exalted toon had indeed already purchased the Grand Commendation from the quartermaster for each of the Pandarian factions which sells the item. I removed all addons to confirm it wasn't a UI issue, but it is totally gone.

This commendation is still active (tested cross-faction on max and low-lv toons), it just doesn't show up for the player to see. Which is highly unfortunate given the tokens are re-purchasable and non-refundable. Re-purchasing and attempting to use the commendation causes a red error message to briefly flash in the center of the screen stating "Already commended by this faction". Players will thus need to keep manual track of these now in order to avoid losing gold.

I have left this same comment on the other Grand Commendation pages as well to help spread word of this situation.
