You can get this item from
at Theramore´s Fall scenario (lvl85).
36 Theramore's Fall scenarios later and I
have yet to get this item. I refuse to give up.
As you can see in this screenshot it is a pretty bad horde firework.
- (Quick link to the Alliance version below.)
- Work I Progress :
is back in the game and is obtainable though the Lunar Festival holiday event.
- You can buy the toy from
- This is “bind on pick up” so it will be added to your Toy Box for all your Horde characters to use.
- Do not buy both fireworks! You only need to buy one toy,
. When you log on the other faction the toy will convert.
- This item became a toy, which allows all your horde characters to use this item.
originally entered the game as a rare drop that came from
from the very first scenario,
. This item was only available for a week, just before the Mists of Pandaria expansion.
Other Toy Box items like it:
Given the itemcode of 90000, I suppose it would take me over 90000 runs to get it... Well, at least I've done 20...
Edit: F*ck you, f*ck you hard downraters. Be glad that you looted it on your first run. Never understood people who, if do not uprate - downrate everything.
To all the
s out there, who used to fool around with
I present the following macro:
p.s. For increased effect and confussion of your foes, make sure you also have
as one of your active glyphs
Does anyone know if this will drop in the lvl 90 version as well?
Question of availability at 90 seems to have been answered at Best Buy Q&A
Will the gear in Theramore's Fall 85 version be available in the 90 version?
The gear and the rewards for the 85 version are only available now. The 90 version has standard scenario rewards (Valor and a chance at a dungeon blue)
Just to give you an idea of what it's like: 110 runs, no everlasting firework. Could just be bad luck, but that's a lot of bad luck.
Update: approximately 150 runs now, no firework.
Update #2: approximately 200 now - you guessed it - no firework.
Update #3: close to 350 runs and I've got it !
Does anyone had an idea of its droprate?
I've seen some people on their first runs of the scenario get it, but I'm at about 40 runs with no sign of it. At this rate I might hit the 100 scenario achievement before I see it. :(
Either the Horde symbol has been severely changed or they really messde up with this one.. Or I'm just not seeing it..
Oh hooray, a 0.5% drop rate item you have about a week to farm.
Please Lord make them see reason and put it back in the game at level 90 :(
This is just horrible. I'm more then willing to put the time into farming but I've repeated this scenario countless times without getting the thing. They need to add a means to getting it after the weeks up.
While I didn't run the 350 runs another poster did, I certainly ran almost 100 times. The result: no everlasting firework seen.
For a one week event that won't repeat, that drop rate is simply too low. This is a totally cosmetic item and there's really not any reason for it to be this rare. Blizzard blew it.
I sure hope they add a way to get this on an ongoing basis in Mists. The ultra-rare drop rate is fine if it remains in scenarios in the future. For a one week event though? To say the drop rate they chose was ill-conceived is putting it mildly.
I remember getting this item while trying for the leather helm and dagger. Some guy above mentioned the vanish/this item macro, but I took it one more step to making it totally confusing:
And as the guy above stated, make sure you have
in use. It makes for alot of confusion when using vanish.
This item is way over 9000.
I found this in my inventory while i was cleaning out my bags. I had no idea it was so rare...i'm glad I kept it all this time. It's on an alt though, so i must have only ran the theramore scenario once or twice with him and got lucky. I'll be sure to keep it forever!
For those of you lucky enough to snag one of these when you could, it is on the preliminary list of items that can be added to your
Toybox in WoD. To date, they are saying that while how it'll work isn't yet cast in stone, it seems like you'll have the option to get on your toon that got this (and any other) drop to stick it in the Toybox, and after that you can access it from any toon.
Seems we might be getting an extra way to obtain this item in Warlords?
Until now I thought it was a guaranteed drop...
I got it on my first run.
If you are after the two toys from the Lunar Festival, please take note that you just need to buy the Horde or the Alliance version. The counterpart will be added automatically to your Toy Box; luckily, it works like the Argent banner toys.
Two birds with one stone, or better, two Toys with 25 Coins :)
This item is now sold by
x25 during the Lunar Festival.
You don't have to be engineer to buy or use it and the Alliance-version of this toy is also automatically added to your toybox.
I just bought
in Moonglade for
. However, you only need to buy one of the two versions (
). Once you learn one of the two, the other one is automatically added to the Toy Box. They count as seperate toys and both count towards
. Also there is
no Engineering Schematic sold
for this item. You buy the Toy directly from
thus Engineering is not required
. Happy flying :)
