One of these dropped off of something in Twilight Highlands (could have been one of 2 mobs, I was doing 2 quests in The Black Breach). I kinda was surprised, since they dropped for my DK, and would be a perfect piece for him once he gets to 85.

These are actually BiS for Ret paladins. They are better itemized than the t11 legs, definitely worth the gold imo.

BoE Worlddrop, don't bother posting your droplocations. You can farm it on the Auction House though, if you bring enough cash.

Considering this item is a random, world drop, I doubt it helps to know I was lucky enough to get these off a trash mob in The Lost City of the Tol'vir on heroic difficulty.

Though it may help you to have another auction total for comparison to formulate your own sell price. I just sold these on Staghelm (Alliance) for 28,140g. Originally, I was going to put these up starting at 1g, with a buyout close to 100k (as someone below indicated they've been known to sell for), but I decided to put them up with bidding starting at 17,500g and a buyout of 54,999g over 24 hours.

It took over 12 hours to get anyone to bid the minimum, but someone finally did. Then in the last two hours I had two players place a couple bids (to outbid eachother), and a bidding war of sorts broke out in the last 15-20 minutes. The end result was a final bid of 28,140g.

My advice for selling these on the AH is to know your server/faction's economy, check out similar items of the same quality/item level as these, and post at a reasonable and comparable price to ensure you get some decent gold :)

Well apparently they guy that got them decided that 11,5k was a decent price to sell these so i was lucky enough to bump on them and get them,12 hours later i sold them for 25k!
I know they are BiS for my retri but after 4.0.6 mastery will be heavier so really 25k were more worthy!

Was farming Obsidian Charscales for leather and dragonscales to sell in order to buy these, and they dropped off one. It's confirmed to drop in heroics, regulars, and as a world drop. Good luck for those who are farming it!

With the class changes in 4.0.6, mastery is now the best secondary stats for ret paladins, and as such this is inferior to the tier legs, which has mastery instead of haste. This is of course assuming under hit cap.

Just got this on my 85 DK. The tank was Druid so he needs leather, the DPS were a hunter and a shaman so both mail and the healer, of course, cloth. My friend was so upset.

Not really sure why a ret paladin would take these over the 钢化碧晶腿铠, nor am I sure why WoWHead is scoring these higher than the reinforced pants either. The reinforced pants have more hit, and 228 mastery > 241 haste for ret as of 4.0.6, at least in a raid group and in 359 gear ( > , if you go by Redcape's latest stat weights up to this date).

They were BiS in 4.0.3, but no longer. I know it's already been mentioned that the tier pants are BiS now, but I thought it worth mentioning that the "Find Upgrades" is still scoring these higher slightly, plus I wanted to show the math as to why. This doesn't even count the T11 set bonuses.

Edit... Just learned that my stat weights had reset under the filter, so with that fixed, the tier plates score higher.

You can buy these...however, BH does drop the pants. I would save the gold, buy some other epic piece and keep doing BH or hold up on your VP.

I got my T11 pants from BH
Bought my gloves with VP but the next bh they dropped. Sucks for me lol.

These just dropped while I was quietly sniveling my way through SFK because no druid gear was dropping. They dropped, we all rolled greed. The healer said he could use them for his ret spec. Well, I could use them for my DK (actually, I said warrior, but now that I've read the comments, I know who gets 'em.) Worth about 3k gold on my realm, if I were going to sell them. Which I am not.
