New Titanium Weapon Chain for Cata. Also will be mandatory for melees in PvP since they removed Disarm Reduction talents.
The "Does not stack with other similar effects." only refers to the disarm reduction of the enhancement and other disarm reductions from talents. This is a very cheap and effective enchant for dual-wield melee to use on their entry level endgame weapons.
Probably the best weapon enchant for a Warrior or Paladin tank prior to getting
Enchant Weapon - Windwalker
. It allows you to put more avoidance on your gear, through reforging or gemming, which is generally going to be more beneficial than
Enchant Weapon - Mending
(which provides an almost negligible amount of healing).
Also a very cheap enchant for casters until the "real" enchants fall in price :)
Seems to be the standard offhand weapon enchant for any pvp/arena rogue. It's just a no-go when you are unable to deal damage for 10 seconds due to being disarmed.
Mainhand enchant would be
Enchant Weapon: Hurricane
Enchant Weapon: Landslide
if you can afford.
I know it says that it requires a level 81 character to use, so can someone who is level 81 place it on an heirloom item, and then give it to one of their low level alts? (It doesn't seem to have an item level requirement.)
(4) bonus of warrior gladiator set being a similar effect i guess?
It's also a nice way to increase Blacksmithing or make your wallet happy: on my server (Frostwhisper - EU) this sells on AH for over 50g, while you can find a Pyrium bar at 20g.
120 hit rating = 1% melee hit. (roughly)
40 hit rating = .33% melee hit.
I have a hunter who I leveled up to 85 by solo questing and just recently started doing battlegrounds and getting PVP gear.
These chains are really cheap so I bought one to attach to one of my daggers thinking I don't want to be disarmed because I got the daggers for the stat benefits (not to melee with) and I don't want to lose those stats during a fight. Am I thinking correctly? Or maybe nobody "disarms" a ranged attack class?
I also bought it because I was thinking the hit would add to my ranged weapon hit rate, but now I'm wondering if it only benefits melee hits? Can someone clarify please?
Okay I used this enchant for my rogue on my main hand thinking it would only reduce the disarming on one weapon, and it just sounded better to me logically to chain up my main weapon to me (I know wow doesn't work like the real world but that just made sense to me at the time). I'm guessing it doesn't matter which hand does it? I'm probably better off putting this enchant on the OH right? Or should I keep it on my MH?
Something i was wondering, will this stack with a Runeforge?
This can be used on BOA weapons and sent to lvl 1 twink and up and it still works. the 40 hit is active for all lvls.
i have tested it, works 100%
