Drops from Heroic: Trial of the Champion, the 5-man version of crusader's coliseum.
This cloak is proof of how amazing the drops are here.
I got it and replaced my Deathchill Cloak, not bad for a heroic :)
Are the stats more like this?
Requires Level 80
Item Level 219
Equip: Improves critical strike rating by 33.
Equip: Improves hit rating by 44.
Equip: Increases spell power by 70.
Small buff since its 219.
Can someone confirm?
For warlocks, a very slight upgrade over the
Disguise of the Kumiho
due to lack of any spirit and depending on your current +hit score.
Heroic and Regular ToC are amazing for building a simple Shadowpriest set easily. The following drops:
Gaze of the Unknown
Boots of the Crackling Flame
Bindings of the Wicked
Belt of the Churning Blaze
... give you enough Hit to cap if gemmed and enchanted right. Supplement it with a
(Reg.) and you're set! Note that none of these seem to have Spirit, so they're far from the best starter items you can get, but the fact that all these come out of a 15-minute instance makes up for the lackluster stats.
I have a feeling that someone in Blizzard that names items is into Japanese. If my hunch is correct, this is actually "Chris's Indecision"
Shadow P here. Good raid set item.
Doing heroics or if you already have lots of hit while rading good old Deathchill Cloak is better. This one is good when you need to raid and hit is not there yet.
It made me sad when I saw a paladin healer need on this.
Even though it's alright for a healer I guess.. the hit rating is far more important to mages warlocks S-priest and the other dps caster classes.
Sigh.. to think I or someone else could have had this if the healer had a brain :(
Alot of the gear in here, whether it be mail or cloth, does not have spirit on it making it a perfect choice for any elemental shaman. ToC bring alot of great gear to the table for us, and this is one the most obvious. The hit and crit are wonderful for a class that doesnt have much choice when trying to get hit capped as we are. This will go well for any caster, there is no doubt, but from an elemental shaman standpoint, make this one of the first items you go after in the new heroic.
As a non-raiding mage, this is the best cloak I can get short of 50 frost emblems. According to armory, I've run H-ToC more than 40 times and have yet to get this cloak. I believe it's only dropped twice, and I lost both times.
Looking at the droprate on wowhead, you're looking at 11% from a boss that is present 50% of the time, so roughly 5.5% drop rate. Then consider it's a cloth cape that all but pure-melee classes could potentially roll need on (including holy pallies, as evidenced by comments above). If you're rolling against just 1 other player, that drops the chance of getting this to 2.75% per run.
My advice? Start saving up those frost emblems. H-ToC drop rates are so low as to be non-farmable.
Dropped on my first run thru HToC on my Holy Pally. I agree with Sariko when saying that this is a good cloak for a holy since it has some hit. Missing with a judgment can be a real pain and if you are really unlucky missing 2 judges is ridiculous. I find myself almost never missing a judge now, and the other stats are all good for starting out to heal heroics and raids. Of course there are better things out there, but we gotta start somewhere, right?
/translate its says Christians Indecision Kurisu i Japanese for Christian, the Back i recommended its very nice for Healing Shaman
