this is indeed a very powerful trinket that will probably be BiS for many classes including hunter , warr , pally , dk , rogues, and druids. maybe a shaman can get away with this but its something that will surely be on my wishlist.

Does anyone know what the uptime/cooldowns are on this? I just got it last night and I logged 30.1% uptime during Lord Jaraxxus during our 10 man right after.
With a 15 sec buff, that would seem to be to put the internal CD around 45 seconds.

These are all exactly equal to the DMC: Greatness, so it will have the same theoretical uptime of about 32%. For a fury warrior, this gives it a total SEP of 256*.37879 + 450*.32 = 240.97, compared to Greatness's SEP of 90 + 300*.32 = 186. Amazing trinket, 258 version is even better of course.

Our DK won this last night, confirmed that it has a 45 second internal cooldown and a 15 second duration, just like Darkmoon Card: Greatness. The procs from these two trinkets are also entirely seperate and share no cooldowns whatsoever, and this one procs just as frequently as the Darkmoon Card does when outside of the internal cooldown

Aside from the rather useless comments, does anyone have a photo of the proc animation and is able to upload the picture on Wowhead? As it seems that this trinket still evades my rolls, I'm rather curious about the proc animation. :) Especially since DMC:G proc sound was a pidgeon's cooing. :)

I don't know. I guess it would depend on how many already had it in the raid. I would not understand it going to a drood tank if there are dps people that have 100% attd. and do 7-8k dps for the raid. theres a big difference between BiS and 3rd BiS. I am guessing that druid would have been %^&*ed if his BiS dropped and it went to a dps as 3rd BiS.

The radiance effect doesn't make stacking agility or dodge any worse. The fact that there will be more damage from bosses thats dodgeable, and that the attacks hit more often just makes stacking agility & dodge even better. Big hits means spiky damage, and dodge just makes there be less spikes. Small hits means smoother damage, and dodge makes the smooth be less damaging.
The radiance buff is 20% less chance to dodge - but druid tanks will be WELL above 20% dodge chance, so dodge is still good for them. Having a proc send you from 40% dodge to 50% dodge isn't WAY better than going from 20% dodge to 30% dodge. And since there's more damage that can be dodged, that will actually make dodge & agility even more important next patch, not less important.
Try playing a druid tank (or even just healing one) before you claim to know what is or isn't good for them.
And don't downrate my comment just because your selfish dps doesn't want his guild's tanks to get gear that they need.
edit: And tanks contribute very much in dps races. A tank gaining 500 dps from a trinket is about as useful as a dps gaining 500 dps from a trinket. In some ways, it's more useful because it helps them hold threat even better. The downside is that the tanks have their assigned roles on who to tank & can't switch to the target that needs to be dps'd down. So this is really more of a trinket for an OT than a MT (because OTs tend to be on the target that needs to be dps'd down, whereas the MT stays on one target the whole fight), but any half decent tank knows that anyways since its the MTs who stack Stamina and the OTs who need to boost their threat & avoidance (and for druids, dps = threat). Onyxia is especially clear as a fight where high dps tanks shine. Higher dps tanks means you can leave more ranged on Onyxia (ideally having a ranged heavy group with the tanks & a tiny amount of melee handling the adds with all ranged on Onyxia), making it easier to get the More Dots achievement.

And this is why "Chill of the Throne" is being used in Icecrown Citadel.
From Daelo:
For Icecrown Citadel, we are implementing a spell that will affect every enemy creature in the raid. The spell, called Chill of the Throne, will allow creatures to ignore 20% of the dodge chance of their melee targets. So if a raid's main tank had 30% dodge normally, in Icecrown Citadel they will effectively have 10%.
Why are we doing this?
The high levels of tank avoidance players have obtained is making the incoming damage a tank DOES take more "spiky" than is healthy for raiding. Ideally, tanks would be receiving a relatively constant stream of damage over time. This allows healers to better plan their healing strategy, broaden their spell options, and simply give more time to react. Tanks could use their cooldowns more reactively. Instead, the current situation is that if we make a hard hitting melee boss and a tank doesn't avoid two successive swings then the tank could very well be dead in that 1-2 second window. The use of reactive defensive abilities instead becomes a methodically planned affair, healers have to spam their largest heals just in case the huge damage spike happens.
We've been trying to do a fair amount to mitigate the effect of high tank avoidance on the encounter side of things during this expansion with faster melee swings, additional melee strikes, dual wielding, narrowing the normal variance of melee swing damage, and various other tricks. There's a limit to what we can do, however. So to give us a bit of breathing room we've implemented Chill of the Throne. Going forward past Icecrown Citadel, we have plans to keep tank avoidance from growing so high again.
We'll have this on the PTR soon so players can see the effects inside Icecrown Raid.
Ghostcrawler has also chimed in:
Our original estimations for tank avoidance would have worked fine had we not decided to add extra tiers of gear to reward heroic boss kills halfway through the expansion.
The Cataclysm design will keep tank avoidance at more manageable levels. The loss of defense skill counts for a lot right there. We are also considering giving bosses expertise or other ways of baking in Icewell Radiance -- basically the concept that bosses scale with gear rather than just hitting harder and taking more hits.
Additional relevant statement from Ghostcrawler yesterday:
What I would like to see in Cataclysm is higher health pools but also lower heals (and tank avoidance) overall. Hopefully everyone won't be on the verge of almost dying, yet the risk of overhealing will be more real such that you can't just madly spam all of the time if you want to make it to the end of the encounter.

Trying to get this for a while now as it is a logical upgrade to greatness strength card.
