Confirmed to drop off the Iron Menders (trash in front of Ignis) last night ... Should hold tank-healing Druids over until they get their T8 bonuses.
Idol of Awakening
could be interesting with the 4piece T8 bonus.
Ulduar trash drop off all trash mobs.
This only drops on Heroic (25-man) mode.
Edited for clarification.
Unless you are spamming nourish, the lifebloom trinket should be more benificial.
Assuming you have 3 stacks of bloom rolling on the tank at all times, whereas you only use Nourish to spot heal or top the tank off after a big hit
Ulduar is all about crossraiding with rejuv and wild growth. This particular idol is only useful as a 226 item for flame lev.
This idol is a typical example of Blizz not understanding how top players utilize druids in 25man raiding. Nourish can be useful but this idol provides such a small boost to a mediocre spell you'd be better off with either the rejuv or lifebloom idols - especially since both of them can be picked up from emblem vendors now.
Nourish is best when used on a tank that is loaded up with hots. That said, wouldn't +375 healing to your 3 stack of Lifebloom (that's potentially on multiple tanks) be better than 187 healing to your Nourish filler?
I'm not sure I understand when I'd use this.
I don't know why anyone is talking about the lifebloom idol, since it is total crap compared to the rejuv idol.
Gaining 103 mana everytime i cast rejuv compared to 187 more spellpower on nourish? Absolutely uncomparable, seeing as using the rejuv idol gives you a free norish every 5 rejuvs. 1 free nourish > 300 more healing on one spell.
The exception is when you are tank healing and have to use every GCD on nourishes to heal through the 35k hits, and only use rejuv to bolster nourish
I just picked up this idol from Ulduar trash and it looks very good; situationally. I think the hardest part about getting the most out of this idol will be just getting myself to cast Nourish more often. Right now I spend most of my time raid healing and tend to get the majority of my effective healing out of Rejuvenation and Wild Growth. Ever since The Great Lifebloom Nerf of 3.1 I have been casting it much less, so I don't think it makes sense to compare Flourishing Life to
. Seriously, go put Lush Moss in the bank, we don't need it anymore.
Prior I have been using
Idol of Awakening
Spark of Hope
, making my Rejuvenation cost 341 mana. Dropping Awakening for Flourishing Life the mana cost goes up to 416 mana but pick up the bonus to Nourish. In the end, I think for more mana intensive fights I am going to stick with Awakening and pull out Flourishing Life for those times I need the healing throughput. As mentioned in an earlier post, mana is not a major issue in Ulduar making this a nice idol to keep on you.
Resto druids specialize in HoT's, give us a HoT Idol please Blizz. If one wants to have long-cast time (greater) heals, roll a priest. How about "adds 6 seconds to Regrowth?"
Can be bought for 19 Emblems of Conqueror and obtained from Trash in ulduar 25
