Reward for completing the quest
They Grow Up So Fast
, which requires you turn in 20 rugged leather, 20 runecloth, 80 gold, and 20 venomhide baby teeth to
in Un'goro Crater. Teeth are acquired by completing daily quests given to you by the
you receive when you accept the quest. Since the hatchling only gives you one quest a day and therefore one tooth a day, it will take 20 days to get this mount.
The races required are all horde, so not for alliance. This was and is our equivalent of the Winterspring Frostsaber, which is alliance only.
Yes, this is the equivalent to the Alliance's
, Which is obtainable in Winterspring and sadly not so easy to get, Horde always whined about not being able to use the Saber now they get to use this cool Raptor! woot
(i basically made this whole post mainly to give the link to the frostsaber ^.^ )
sorry to ask this, but why does it only require 60% mount training and is still a 100% speed mount? Or is it just wrong in the tooltip? Noticed the same thing on the ally mount.
Edit: and by 60% mount training i mean 75 riding skill, not that's it's for lvl 40...
If you would read notes you would have know the 100% mount training is dropping to level 40....
While this is true, the mount tooltip still says "Requires Riding (75)" which is the skill usually required to use the 60% speed mounts.
you will have to do
, which unlocks
and its followup
They Grow Up So Fast
- you get them from
who will be put (back) into the game.
This is the Horde counterpart to
Reins of the Winterspring Frostsaber
which you can buy off
, after you become exalted with
Why was the comment above mine downranked? Its completely true that the alliance mount has always only required 60% mount training (aside from when there was only one type of riding training back in vanilla).
Blizzard has a habit of making it so that low levels can use insanely hard to get items if they can manage to get them (such as the arena grandmaster from the STV arena).
To clarify above. 75 is the apprentice riding skill for 60% mounts... So guessing from that you DONT need 150 riding skill. However the mount requires level 40.
Im gonna say this and clear all misunderstandings:
Level 20 - Riding 75 - 60% Mounted Speed
Level 40 - Riding 150 - 100% Mounted Speed
This mount requires Level 40, the Winterspring Frostsaber will, should require Level 40 at 3.2 aswell.
It also requires Riding 75, which is the Apprentice Riding Skill, dont take things too complicated, you are going to ride a 100% mount with Apprentice Riding, exclusivly for those Mounts (Not sure if there are any others).
Hope this makes people understand better.
In my experience, Horde has never given much of a crap that they can't get the frostsaber... Mostly a matter of being irritated that the ravasaur trainer was around from about the same time, yet until now, never offered a quest of any sort. Clearly was intended as the Horde equivalent, but it's only being implemented now that hardly anybody needs it. I guess at least this is one thing from the original continents that Blizzard's finally implementing. Now we just need Uldum, Hyjal, Gilneas, the numerous unmarked mystery zones on the Eastern Kingdoms, a legitimate way to reach Dun Morogh Airfield, Old Ironforge, Azshara Crater and/or something else to validate Azshara's existence as a zone, endings to various quest chains that abruptly leave off with no resolution, Grim Batol, various islands (Though those will hopefully come with a Maelstrom expansion), Stormwind Vault... The list goes on -_-
It is a special epic mount that only requires you to have trained for the level 75 riding. This is the only mount on the horde side that has 100% speed increase but doesnt require you to have bought the epic riding skill.
Does anyone have a screenshot of the mount? Would love to know what it looks like before I spend 3 weeks constantly in Un'goro, the weeks grinding in winterspring on my rogue drove me insane getting my winterspring frostaber :P
it takes 20 days to do! T.T
Finaly! a rapter that doesnt have that ball thing on its horn like it's in some circus.
Is that screenshot for real? That thing looks huge!
Well, its only 20 or 25 times of spit, not 2k ! lool thats just epicfail, iv done this on my PTR realm hunter so stop make lies
The Winterspring Frostsaber is the same way, it used to be the only Epic mount you 'could' aquire before getting to lvl 60 due to the diminished required riding training. That was back in the day, so they are just giving it a fair balance even though it's a fairly useless feature now that you can get the Epic riding mount training at a lower level than 60.
I think that it is totally worth it. Why? it's pretty time consuming and it's a nice additive to your mount collection.
I'm just thinking about one thing. Does this trainer also give you a faction and reputation? Since Alliance still gains 1 more exalted faction from their farming, for the achievement, than hordes do. Could anyone confirm this?
The persons commenting on patchnotes and mount training changes may be correct, but to answer your question more accurately:
The Alliance equivalent, the Winterspring Sabre mount, never required epic training. You could get an epic mount speed mount without epic training and that was one of the huge draws to it at one time. This became a non-issue as gold became easier to come by, but at one day in age it saved you a good chunk of change ;)
If you plan on getting this mount, it's best to party up for the first quest. Venomous Ravasaurs are pretty sparse among the other raptors in the marsh area, so don't try to solo it if you can help it.
Also, un-equip your weapon and just punch them in the face, try not to kill them.
Good luck everyone, see you in 19 more days on your new Ravasaurs.
I did the first two quests today and I found it pretty easy on my level 60 priest. For the first quest I just equipped my skinning knife and auto-attacked it, healing myself when it was needed. I only did about 20% damage to the one that I was attacking and managed to get 20 applications of poison. I noticed I was resisting the poison quite often so I can imagine it would be harder for a level 80 to do it, because they'll resist the poison more often.
Another thing is that you seem to have to hit the ravasaur to be poisoned so its a good idea to bring a weapon like a skinning knife that doesn't train any skill. I hardly missed when I was attacking and was hitting the ravasaur for 3 damage, however my friend who was a level 69 druid took much longer because he used his bare hands and ended up just training his unarmed skilled on them until he was high enough to hit them. Then he started to become poisoned very quickly.
Also I read this page before doing the quest and was under the impression that you had to do this quest 20 times, but you only have to do this once.
The second quest quest involved collecting 4 eggs and the eggs are very easy to see, although I was the only one doing the quest at the time so it would obviously take longer if there are more people.
For the third quest you're given a baby ravasaur pet that you summon and it gives you quests, which are 1 per day. The first that I got was to feed it 12 silithid eggs from the hive in tanaris, but my friend, the druid, got a quest to collect dinosaur meat so it's probably random. You get 1 baby tooth for each quest, and you need 20 teeth to get the mount, and its one quest per day so it should take 20 days to get the mount . Also the pet can only be summoned in un'goro crater, tanaris and silithus, so bad luck to anybody who was considering keeping the pet.
So far I'm quite enjoying having my own baby, so don't let the poison quest put you off. If you do it properly it will take much less time, an then the other quests take very little time.
This might help any 80 or high lvl hunters doing this quest. Very easy. Beast tracking til you find a venomhide. Once you have one take off ***ALL*** your gear and weapons. Put on aspect of the monkey. Hit the venomhide since you can only get poisoned by hitting them. When they finally are about to die (don't push your luck past 15%) feign death. They're back at full health rinse and repeat. I got my quest off of just one venomhide.
I just began this chain yesterday,
and i think it's fairly easy, my toon is a lock 78, I just got unarmed and started punching at a
(360 unarmed skill) ocasionaly the ravasaur hit me with some posion and thats when the requirement raised, I was grouped with a hunter friend and he just sat there receiving credit, my unarmed skill raised to 375 I think it took me like 5 minutes to get all 20, I think it aint necessesary to hit the raptor, just aggro it and let it have fun with you 'cos i received credits when he hit ME with its poison not the other way around.
The second quest
is just about picking some eggs, those are scatered around in some nests, it wont be very hard to find them.
And the last one
(They grow up so Fast)
is to do the 20 daily quest the hatchilng will give you, the first one I did was to get 5
in tanaris, the second I got is to
kill 15 un'goro dinosaurs
and give him their
, I'll update this as soon as I get more quest.
Sell Price: 2 gold 50 silver
Why would anyone in the world want to vendor it?
If you forget to do one of the daily quests (for say a weekend trip), will the quest fail and you'll have to start over or it just takes that much longer to complete the quest?
you do not have to kill these raptors to complete the quest just aggro a couple let them hit you a bit and then when after a bit run away heal and reaggro....do not attack other ppls that look like they are afk and getting hit...chances are they arent
update : just did on my priest...you can get all 20 poisons from the same raptor....just take your weaps off and hit it with your fist...as a lvl 80 priest...i didnt kill it
I for one am highly dissapointed in this mount, Instead of Blizzard making it actually look like a real
They couldn't even get off their lazy asses and just decided "Oh hey lets just reskin the low level troll mounts instead of giving it a unique model" They add in a new instance, A new raid, Raptor / Ravasaur pets, Class changes etc and they can't even give us a new skin for a mount which has been due for 5 years now
Just downrate my comment even though its a valid arguement
You pretty much read mi mind. I can only see it now, submarines from engineering, maybe a better aquatic form for the druids, a good use for the sea turtle.....
Two more quests I did in addition to yours were to collect insect eggs from Tanaris, and Insect meat from the ones in Ungoro
This Mount would be one of my favorites if it didn't hav that retarded horn sticking straight infront of their face instead of upwards like a normal raptors not these mutated freaks :P
No one else just a little miff'd that after all this time our ravasaur isn't a ravasaur at all? Sorry but this reskin of a starter mount is pretty lack luster. Here's hoping they fix the model to actually look like a
. Yeah i know, just looking for something to complain about but that aside the point is still valid that the mount is indeed NOT a ravasaur. Much less that of the "Venomhide" variety...
This screenshot is fake! This raptor is no so big, he have normal raptor mount size.
Some notes. Yes you can get the venom done on one ravasaur. As a shaman I would simply run away and let them reset once the mob got low.
As for mounts that didn't/don't require proper riding skill. Originally no special mount required riding skill to use. Personally I paid all of 520g (or might have been 540g) because I bought the AV mount before riding skill was fully implemented (they gave the epic riding skill to any with a 100% speed mount when they redid riding skill). Also the PvP mounts only required lvl40 riding for the longest time.
Well since nobody mentioned. Chain counts to Loremaster of Kalimdor achievement, thanks God.
Submitted a pic of me with mah baby in dalaran.
I'm so glad I don't have to feed it anymore :)
WOOT first on my server Malfurion. :P This take 20 days but it gives an achievement so it was worth the time and effort!
@ Crochan May your words be granted for "Uldum, Hyjal, & Gilneas" Via next Xpac.
Take Note that if you are faction changing and have this you will get the Winterspring frostsaber.
, in Southern Un'Goro crater gives the first quest. The farming consists of no actual farming; just 2 simple quests, then another quest which involves doing 20 dailies, 1 per day, 20 Runecloth, 20 Rugged Leather and 80 gold. The Horde version is a black raptor, not unlike the PvP mount, but unarmored.
The first quest is to build up an immunity to their poisonious skin; you must find Venomhide Raptors, which can be difficult because they're rareish and many people farm them now that this mount has come out. I suggest a macro, /target venomhide, but if it's crowded, you'll probably only get dead ones. Luckily, if you're alone, it's very simple. You must fight Venomhides and get splashed with their poison. Players might remember this; if you get splashed, you get a buff on your weapon. However, the buff doesn't hurt the venomhides... What you should do, especially at 80, is to go barefisted and naked. You can still get splashed, but they won't die as quickly. This is the only difficult part. Should only take 6 or 7 raptors.
The 2nd part involves you finding white raptor eggs. They're surronded by pink eggs, and they're easy to collect. You only need 4 and very easy to find. Again, if other people are there, it can be time-consuming, but it's quick so competition will leave.
The last part gives you a pet; you summon the pet who gives you dailies. The dailies are numerous and random, so only 1 per day. You must kill certain creatures or find certain food stuffs to feed to your pet, then you get a tooth. After twenty teeth, your pet is "mature" enough to ride. This involves going to Un'Goro, Tanaris and Silithus. Very easy if you stick to it, may only have to come on for ~20 minutes a day.
Then you hand in your teeth, gold, leather and cloth, and you have your mount. Congradulations!
Edit: I also posted this on Wintersaber Trainers, and I had "There IS a Horde version of this quest". Needless to say, I removed it.
I just got him today, and happened to be standing next to another troll riding his raptor mount when I noticed something. He is indeed slightly larger than the other raptor mounts. A small thing, but worth noting.
EDIT: He just got stuck in the door to the Undercity elevator. :O
Grouping up for the first quest is an excellent idea, as every member of the party gets credit when any ONE person gets an application of poison. Whether this is a bug or intended remains to be seen, but use it while we can!
It's amazing how much of that is actually getting put in from your list.
The list goes on
Uldum- Added as a new zone below Tanars
Hyjal- Finally opened, with Ragnaros back
Gilneas- Greymane Wall opened, with Worgen as the new Ally race
Unmarked Easter Kingdoms Zones-Various new zones, including the Twilight Highlands
Dun Morogh Airfield*
Azshara Legitamacy- Azshara being remade as a 10-20 starting zone for Goblins, the new Hordies
Quest Chain Ends*
Grim Batol- Raid hub with Deathwing, entrance to the Twilight Highlands
Various Islands- Lost Isles, Sunken City of Vash'ir, Tol Barad, ect.
(*- With the remaking of all of the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor, it is very likely that we
be seeing some (if not all) of these come up.
the absolute worst thing about getting this mount is the travel time to Un'goro/Tanaris/Silithus on a daily basis. Im actually traveling there now as i write this. As an 80 the quests are rediculously easy and the worst downfall is they give no cash reward upon completion. So what...its another mount in my bags.
the counterpart for faction change.
This is probably a stupid question but...
For the quest part where it takes 20 days do you have to come on 20 days in a row.
Or everyday that your on do a quest till it gets to 20?
You can get a Wintersaber in 1-2 days? What? Maybe if you never sleep, never have to get up to eat or go to the bathroom, and are on a server all by yourself. Realistically...no.
Note: unlike all other epic raptor mount (excluding the origonal ones) this one does not have any armour on it also, it has replaced the mottled raptor in the 'stables' outside gadgetzan
As far as the first quest goes, if you are 80, unequip ANYTHING that adds damage to your attack. Basically, all your gear, weapons, trinkets, etc.. There are plenty of venomhide ravasaurs around, btw, i had no trouble whatsoever finding them, and i only needed 3 of them to get all 20 poison splashes. And you cannot just aggro the ravasaur and turn around and let it hit you 500 times, you MUST be hitting it, and each hit has a % chance to splash you with poison. With all my gear off, i did around 75 damage per hit, which was low enough to hit it 50 or so times before it died.
Kish, how did you get a full-size mount AND a baby? Or is that someone else's? I am debating not finishing the quest so I can keep it as a pet...but if I can have BOTH, I want that :)
It's almost worth changing faction to Horde to get this, just to change back and have it transform into a wintersaber instead, due to the not-quite-as-insane grind.
Edit: Well, not any longer. :)
I love how people are freaking out that you dont have to have the epic training to get this mount, and others are retorting with you can get epic training at 40 anyways, when no one has mentioned that to even start the quest line you have to be level 48, AND be able to kill several creatures around Un'goro and Tanaris
doing the quest for this mount gets you so frustrated, all the effort (20 days). Its good to get if your in the lower 50's before heading to OUTLAND, but if you are questing in northrend you have to go all the way to ungoro/tanaris. But there is one possibility, you can take the portal in scholozar basin to top of ungoro, then when your done you can hearthstone back to where you were questing in Northrend....hope this helps
This is a awsome looking mount and soo easy to do... i will do my best to explain how to get it and what the quest look like.
For starters you go to un'goro and to the pools where the raptors are. make sure to scale the wall for the troll on the raptor i found it easy to toggle "low level quest"
Now he is gonna explain to you what the raptor is and talk about you need to be infected; its very simlple take off all your gear as a 80 and punch or get a low level wepon you have to be hiting them in order for them to spit on you.
you go talk to him and he sais you need to go steal a egg so we can train them, and then he talks about how cool they are and how you need to be careful.
after you do that; go talk to him agian and then you get started on the chain now at the end you need x20 teeth from the raptor x20 runecloth and x20 rugged leather in order for him to make the saddle for you.
the easyest part is to do the dailys for 20days. what you need to do everyday is go to ungoro/tanaris/slithilus and summon the raptor and he/she will tell you what it wants to eat or what it wants to do.
One quest is to go to ungoro and get slithid meat they are at the bottom of the map at a brown dot all you do there is kill 10 of the little bug things.
is the dinosaur meat... all you do it go to ungoro and kill 10 dinos there like the flying ones and the diamadions or whatever.
Now the quest are easy 1 of them is in tanaris it is feathers you go to the bottom south of the map and where you see bones you should see some of those birds just go over their and kill them they drop feathers and you need about 5 of them... after you are done with that you will get a venomhide tooth and a story like "the raptor grabs the feathers and trys to put them on his wrists" and when you talk to it, he/she will say "it looks as if thinking you are its mother/father.
Next one in tanaris is the one called poached, scrambled,or raw. which is a quest you go to the noxious lair or something and the SW side of the map and get 15 eggs there they are orange and all over the ground.
After you do these random quest for 20days and get all the mats you will be a proud owner of a Venomhide Ravuasar
love mine got it on both of my toons looks extra cool no any BE and Orc.
If you RACE CHANGE. All your quests will be deleted and the teeth will be gone!
However, go back to the quest giver in un'goro and all your teeth will return!
There seems to be some sort of problem with some of the 20-day daily quests. It seems that some people aren't getting the drops needed for completion of the quests. i.e., the gorishi don't drop silithid meat and the dinosaurs don't drop dinosaur meat. I'm not sure how wide-spread the problem is, but I know of a few people on my realm who have the issue.
One question. If I get this raptor, and faction change to alliance, will I have Winterspring Frostsaber then?
Honestly what makes the Winterspring Frostsaber so special is that it is such a beautiful mount and isn't armored. To be perfectly honest, this Ravasaur mount is very ugly and unremarkable. if someone rides past on a wintersaber, its obvious. I wouldn't even notice someone riding past on this.
i thought that it was pretty cool watching your venomhide hatchling growing up. i felt connect with it by the time i got the mount :D
I was wondering, if you get this as horde, and then use race change into alliance, will you get the tiger or keep the raptor?
does this mount give a 60% speed increase or a 100% increase? i wanna know cuz if its 60 im not even gonna bother doing it
I got mine today. It's funny, but I felt really excited, when I got up this morning :)
Getting the mount is not that hard. You only have to be patient and do your 20 quests.
The quests itself take only 10-15 minutes and are really easy. Anyone can find the time to do them.
Personally, I think that Blizzard found a nice way to make a mount special, without asking
too much of the players.
There is no way that the no-lifes are going to beat you, by grinding 27/7 for a week.
I red that some people got their Wintersping Frostsabre this way, in about 7 days. These kind of
things can really $%^& me off sometimes. Normal people with jobs just can't compete with
those idiots. It can really ruin the game experience sometimes. But this approuch sets things
straight for once ;-)
I'm really happy with my new mount! :-)
Guess you cant go get this pet and then change race :F
Since the hatchling only gives you one quest a day and therefore one tooth a day, it will take 20 days to get this mount.
Thats pretty F'ed up for alliance! How long does it take to get to exhaulted with Frostwind so you can buy a saber. I S* longer than 20 days if you only do one quest a day like this horde version requires.
Question, what happens if someone does this quest then faction changes to alliance? will he/she keep the mount or will it be replaced with the tiger?
I had some difficulty getting poisoned, until I set my voidwalker to take the beatings and just auto attacked with my wand. I figured this may be of some help to the other casters out there. (50 lvl warlock.) I spent over an hour killing them by accident ...and finished the quest in under five minutes using this method.
I recommend getting this mount when you're a tauren. Makes you bigger than ever!
It is also worth to note that if you faction change after you've obtained this mount you will gain one more exalted faction. Upon faction changing you will arrive at
into exalted with the Wintersaber Trainers.
does the venomhide hatchling actually grow when you do the daily quests in succession? ive only done three of twenty so far and havent noticed anything different, i think it would be awesome if it did :D
pretty awesome if u think about it easiest way to get any kind of raptor i know without spending any honor points
Anyone know, if you faction xfer with this mount, will you get the winterspring frostabre instead? Since it's the raptor's alliance counterpart? Or will I lose the raptor completely and have to redo the winterspring rep?
So... since this mount is equivalent of the Winterspring Saber - if you do a faction change, does it change into said saber?
Edited: Confirmed, if you faction change, this DOES turn into the Winterspring Saber.
Do we know if this will still be available in Cataclysm?
I think it's rather stupid that if you transfer Alliance you get the Winterspring Frostsaber for the sole fact that the Frostsaber is a thousand times more difficult to get.
To get the Ravasaur you need to log on once a day like any other daily. (And dailies are easy as hell, I'm Exalted with EVERY Alliance available daily reputation.) To get the Wintersaber you need to do a mindboggingly long and boring grind, comparable to Insane in the Membrane (Which I've done too.)
I don't remember the exact math, but it takes somewhere around 10 times the amount of in game time.
I like how it has a vendor cost.
Because after 20 days, you're going to pawn the mount YOU YOURSELF trained off for POCKET CHANGE.
...I could see a Forsaken Warlock doing that, though...
It would be much easier to collect 200 pieces of meat at one time, that way you woudn't have to keep coming back to the Silithid spawn's place to get more meat every day. But since the daylies are random and you can only have 10 silithid meats at a time, this is impossible.
Damn you Blizzard.
a touching questline only 3 more teeth to go and i finaly have a raptor mount
Quick question, if i have this mount and go through the process and then faction transfer, does this switch to a frostsaber? Can anyone confirm or denie?
This quest line is STILL a pain in the ass to start. My warrior, naked and unarmed, 3-shots these raptors at 85. Thank god I'm a troll, and that I own all the other raptors... But I need this one for the achievements /mourn
With 4.1 the
will be just as easy to obtain and will feature very similar daily quests.
OK, I know I'm missing something stupid here. I have:
20 Baby teeth
20 Rugged Leather
The Ravasaur Trainer won't let me complete. Any ideas?
Ahhhhh! HELP! I've been coming to this dang place every day for about 3 weeks. I want my Raptor.
Also, I uploaded a screenshot.
Only thing I can think of is 'items in the Bank', but that would be too simple...
ITS AN AWSOME MOUNT!
I was pleasantly surprised to find out that obtaining this mount counts as a
Feat of Strength.
cool mount, somethin different than the "_____drake" that everybody and their brother has seen a million times already.
After four years of having this in my quest log and in my bags, I finally acquired my mount and achieve. And it's beautiful!
I hate doing dailies x) Un'Goro is just so outta the waaaay
Will this be avaible to alliance characters in MoP or will it be changed to a wintersaber for them?
Im an Alliance player who has the Winterspring mount , i made a hordie hunter out of boredom before 3 days and when i hit 20 checked on my mounts and i do have the Venomhide guys.
Alliance no can has </3
I can confirm what kamalea says. If you have earned the Winterspring mount on an Alliance player, then the Venomhide mount will be available to any horde toons you create. I would assume the opposite is also true.
Just got this on my Horde Shaman, was very suprised to see the Winterspring Frostsaber on my alliance alt when i logged :)
I just got this today. I think it looks really cool.
As of July 4th, 2015, this quest line is still available. You can complete the first 2 parts in 20 mins, and then 20 days of a daily quest to get the hatchling to shed the 20 teeth.
I had a lot of trouble trying to do toxic tolerance with my level 100 rogue, unequipping all my gear didn't work because the mobs still died after 1 hit. After a long time trying I gave up, then I thought of my level 63 mage which I never play. I did the toxic tolerance quest on my mage, then I parked my mage in Un'goro. I think this way is much easier if you have an alt at level 50-70, and you can just log out in Un'goro so you don't have to go back and fourth and toxic tolerence will be done very quickly.
I do not ever recall earning this (as i have only one horde toon and have not done the quest, yet i have it in my mount tab, is this now linked to the frostsaber? why do i even have it?
So just for the people who slack on this quest. I had this quest since one of the first days that it became available. I didn't realize that this quest goes away to get it when you use the character boost. All you need to do is head back to the person you got it from and reaccept the quest.
I just got this. It was pretty easy since I set my hearth at Marshall's Stand and just went there daily for almost 3 weeks.
anyone struggling to not one shot the mobs for this quest there is a toy called Whole-Body Shrinka' (not sure how to link items on here if someone could possibly do that for me, much love. but if you take off all your gear and use that it highly nerfs your dmg patch 8.0 im 384 ilvl all my gear on and that toy makes it so I only 2 shot level 81 mobs around storm peaks. I haven't tested it yet but worst case I imagine you just kill yourself for the res sickness debuff too and I doubt you will 1 shot the raptors anymore.
To start off the quest chain for the Venomhide Ravasaur speak to Mor'vek located in Un'Goro Crater here /way 71.41, 73.74 Mor'vek
Which will eventually lead you to a quest called "They Grow Up So Fast". All the materials for the quest you can gather in one day, with the exception of the venomhide baby teeth. To get the baby teeth you'll have to complete a 20 day daily quest chain given to you by the venomhide hatchling.
