Drops from Algalon the Observer 10man
This should be named "white matter" because of what everyone will do when they see it drop.
Provides 13.33% to crit on proc.
Assuming it behaves in a similar fashion to other trinkets, it would mean it's a 45 second internal cooldown. Combined with a 15% chance off all melee and ranged attacks mean you would expect to see it anywhere from 5-12 seconds on average after the cooldown is down for most classes, so that means it's up for 10 seconds after every 52 seconds, unfortunately due to it's unusually short duration you won't be able to match it up as well with your cooldowns such as avenging fury or death with as well as other talents (of course, it is still imperative to your DPS that you try).
Truly, a beastly item though, regardless of your critical needs.
This is actually the best trinket for melee/hunters in the game. Darkmoon card is 2nd.
not to be confused with
BM, on the other hand (which many don't realize is still a viable raid spec)
Don't spread false information. BM is in no way viable, and hasn't been since Steady was nerfed in 3.0.8. It does lower DPS under all conditions than MM or SV, and provides no unique utility that isn't better provided by another class. Ferocious Inspiration is also provided by Ret pallies.
Of the other 5 buffs BM provides:
Healing Debuff (Aimed Shot) is better provided by a MM or SV hunter, as their Aimed Shots will hit harder.
Hit Chance Debuff (Scorpid Sting) is better provided by a Moonkin (Insect Swarm), as Scorpid Sting prevents the BM hunter from dealing damage with Serpent Sting (1 Sting per mob).
Major Armor, Cast Speed Slow, and Bleed Damage debuffs are all provided by low-dps Exotic Pets, Worm, Core Hound, and Rhino respectively.
Assuming this trinket has a 45 second CD, the uptime of this trinket is roughly 22.22% but this depends on how fast it's activated again after the 45 sec CD. The ability has a 15% chance to proc.
Why does it look like a fel raisin?
This and Blood of the Old God will definitely produce white matter...
The name reminded me of of Final Fantasy IV.
In the final battle (prior to using the Crystal to spawn Zeromus), Edge could Steal an item called Dark Matter from Zemus.
Probably completely unrelated, but it's funny how a Trinket name can take you back in time.
Drops From Nibbler
is the buff this trinket gives.
Dark matter is hypothetical matter that is undetectable by its emitted radiation, but whose presence can be inferred from gravitational effects on visible matter.
y some op mele trinket again ;/
is there some similar for caster dps?
Absolutely INCREDIBLE for Unholy DKs with 4-piece tier 9 in patch 3.2. +13% crit chance to diseases is huge!
The name is from the animated movie Futurama. Its spaceship fuel, and the stuff that Nibbler poops.
+8 [敏捷 or 力量]
你的近战和远程攻击有一定几率使你的爆击提高92点，持续10 sec。（特效触发几率：15%、45秒 冷却）
