well this is what warlocks needed...more survivability, but blizz could have been more polite (since they nerfed the !@#$ out of warlocks) and add the 5% to the initial talent, withoght forcing us to ocupy one of our glymphs :(
im just wondering which pet would be more likely to be able to handle this glyph, since its obviously going to have the demon take more of the damage than without it. im not keen on spending 6 or more seconds of pvp combat to use health funnel so my bet is the fel hunter would be a nice one to use with this glyph since it has devour magic, although the fel guard would give 5% more damage reduction and damage it still seems the fel guard isnt up to taking 5 more % damage on top of what it does already. though the demonic resilience talent helps im not happy with the idea of putting points into it rather than somewhere else. hopefully the fel synergy talent can handle the upped damage.
im not too thrill with the 5% more.... even though if u add all the posibilities....
10% of VW with master demonologist + (phisical)
6% in molten skin + (All dmg)
20% of soul link + new glyph 5% (all Dmg)
60% of nether skin + (i know it doesnt stack but still is a massive reduction)
+ 31% all dmg reduction
+ 10% phisical
+ 60% of that particular spell school
imagen that with a high HP lock (like mine 32k HP) combined with Backlash!
u will wanna get hit to proc instant nukes, this is by far a great pvp strategy =)
with 32kHP life tapping is overrated just make sure u have Demonic knowlege & Demonic Aegis and ur SP will be 2200k+ like mine (enjoy being a Tank Lock)
actually guys, this glyph is the ultimate kick in the face for warlocks -, considering that soul link was 50% and then 30%, and now its been nurfed to 20%, and they expect us to waste a glyph slot just to get a measly 5% back, bah. NO NO NO.
Guys check this spec out
with this spec + glyph u will have like 41% melee damage reduce + siphon life u will be the best surival lock out there i GUES havent tested it yet + the sacrifice with ur void walker
That is one nice glyph
Another way to look at this glyph (
from a PvP perspective
Increases your resilience by 500-ish
"-ish" because resilience effectiveness depends on how much resilience you have.
But for 5% reduced damage taken, you'll need about 500 resilience at level 85
. This will change depending on your level but whatever level you are,
this glyph is worth a good chunk of resilience relative to your level
In Mists of Pandaria this glyph has changed.
OLD: Glyph of Soul Link - Increases the percentage of damage shared via your Soul Link by an additional 5%.
NEW: Glyph of Crimson Banish - Your Banish spell is now red.
Blizzard, you magnificent trolls, you.
It's not taught by Glyph Mastery books! Hallelujah. I just learned it by doing Northrend Research. I don't have time to farm Wrath herbs anymore so I just traded inks at the ink trader for the Snowfall Ink and Ink of the Sea that I needed.
So they give us the ability to change a lot of our spells to green instead of red, and then they give us this. Go figure..
"Your Banish spell is now red."
Okay, so I suppose this is for the WLs who can't tell which mob was banned by whom, because nobody marked anything. And then they choose
... Ever heard of colorblindness?
