Drops from Flame Leviathan in Heroic Ulduar on Hard Mode.
Can blizz PLEASE cut out the ridiculous budgeting of Stamina already.
I mean 192 stam? That's more than any tank piece out there.
The three sockets are lovely though.
Edit...Blizz re-itemized a good chunk of the stamina back into STR....making this a much better piece than before.
I have a really good question. Why put 192 sta on a dps item and then put 156 sta on the tanker legs of this version. Looks odd to me. The tanker version even have more str which is opposite of what it should have
One of the first legs in WoW that have a model instead of only having a texture.
New stats as of build 9733 are:
in the socket along with two
Bold Scarlet Ruby
s and you have yourself 174 str. :D
Blizzard has stated that they are intentionally giving items less-than-optimal stats (such as extra Stam). The reason for this is that as the iLvl increases, they will also optimize the items slightly better as well, so that upgrades are more distinct. If everything was perfectly itemized in every instance, then upgrades would always be 2 Str, 2 crit and 4 hit, or something like that.
They don't want things to be such clear cut upgrades. Instead, you have to make choices and decide what will best suit your character and playstyle. You may not like it, but it definitely makes things more interesting.
This is exactly what they did in BC. The items from Karazhan had strange stat allocations and left lots of wiggle room and confusion, but by the time you got into Sunwell, everything had perfect itemization and the items were thus even more powerful gains over earlier gear than simply looking at their iLvl would tell you.
Blizzard jacks up a lot of things but they do have a plan. Expect Icecrown Citadel loot to have those low stam and tons of Str/Crit/Hit that you love, in addition to a higher item level.
this is the pants ill be whereing insted of my tier 8 skirt. now i can kick ass like a man
As a warrior, these leggings are just perfect for both fury and Arms. Only problem I can see is the 4-set bonus and lack of expertise unless you arent wearing 2 pieces of t8, which is leggings and gloves in our case. We have to choose and calculate if 4 piece bonus is worth having or not, for our overall dmg. The bonus isnt bad, but it has to make up for our overall stats rather than just the MS and Bt dmg.
However, you can get insane amount of strength from this ones (specially if you are a JC like me) and thats what counts at the end seing as the majority wont even get close to getting these before most of the other BIS items.
So would these leggings have a chance to drop if you only left one tower up? Or do you have leave all of them up?
If you read the comment above you someone actually mentioned you had to leave all 4 towers, otherwise you just gained 1 badge extra for each tower you left up.
What would the point of hardmode drops be anyway if the bosses had even harder modes with 0 better loot lol :D
As a jewelcrafting retribution paladin is see these ones socketed with 3x
Bold Dragon`s Eye
and enchanted with
Icescale Leg Armor
making em, compared to other legplates, the best in slot even without the set bonus. For non jewelcrafters one + 2 bold scarlet rubys
only 29 strength less overall.
211 strength (+75 attack power) - with
242.65 strength giving u an additional 560.3 attack power (talent affects only strength not the attack power from the enchant.
107 critical strike rating
Some could think that the grammar i used is not correct, that is NOT true:" Me fail english? That unpossible!"
everything i've seen so far points to having the other pieces of t8 for 4pc + these pants make the BiS suit currently for warriors, and I don't think anyone could argue differently
Felfury Legplates v2.0
These pants, drop in Normal 25 man Ulduar, but to have a chance of them dropping you must complete the fight in
(not to be confused with heroic mode), hard mode is achieved by speaking with
Lore Keeper of Norgannon
and activating the secondary defense array, this must be done
you speak to Brann, the more array towers you leave alive the more chance you have of the pants. Array towers are not the tall thin towers that the iron dwarfs come out of so just make a bee line to the boss if you want to leave all towers up, if you need to remove one or 2 or all if it gets too hard just kill the towers off to the sides with the red, orange, green and/or blue orb things ontop
