These robes actually belong to a Vendor in the camp outside of Azjol'Nerub and Ahn'Kahet, named 'Stars Rest' The stable master makes fun of him for his robes and accent, saying it looks like he just got off the ship. Responding to this he says something like
'Ah yes grandmother made with love, yes. Is made from finest Silk of Dranaei!'
I'll update this if I happen to find his exact phrase, or someone correct me if you wish.

EDIT: adding 库雷尼褶裙 , a kilt of this robe´s artwork, but in lovely dark brown. Leather wearers only though!

Huh. Just picked one up on the AH for 35g after seeing it on Undermine Journal, which also indicated it was a drop. I have no idea if that's true, but now I'll have something appropriate to wear around the Exodar when I'm just chillin'.

(sigh) as always, Blizz favors the alliance with another unique item. I checked the Horde counterpart vendors and they have NOTHING special. now I have to set my sights on buying one and transfering it.
