Gotta be an error that these and the lesser have the same stats. The stats ont these epic ones will be much higher, it's on line with the naxx enchants from 60 atm.
Why is everyone downrating comments that actually make sense? Idiots..
Question was why does this enchant seem just slightly better then the scryer / aldor enchant? Seeing how other gear / enchants improve in a straigh line up, this enchant is way closer to TBC stats than the rest. Hope we can confirm that these stats is a bug soon.
It's about 50 % better than the aldor one, so the upgrade is quite equal to other stuff really. The new WotLK gear doesn't have double as much stats as the current TBC gear and this is enchant is pretty balanced with the new stats in my opinion.
Inscriptionist actually got an even better shoulder enchant.
Has anyone tried using these on the heirloom shoulders then sending them to an alt?
That would be impossible as the item says: "Requires a level 60 or higher item.". Hierlooms are counted as level 1 items.
I was wondering, if you get this enchant on a BoA item, will the BoA become soulbound ? or it will still be BoA ?
I just tried it, it doesn't become soulbound, but when I transferred it back to my low toon using the heirloom, it tells me that the enchant requires level 80, so, I can still use the heirloom, but the enchant doesn't have any effect until you are level 80.
If you were thinking about placing this onto a BoA heirloom shoulder piece, keep in mind, it may not need the rep to use it, but it certainly does require level 80 to use its benefits! So please read this before you go and spend approx. 80-100g on it and that money goes to waste like I did :*(
Blizz has gone to making shoulder enchants available to all of your characters (with appropriate level requirements to prevent OP twinks)...so you only have to do the rep (or honor/stone) grind on one toon.
This applies to Sons of Hodir (req lvl 80), Wintergrasp (req lvl 80), Honor (req lvl 70), Violet Eye (req lvl 70), Aldor (req lvl 64), Scryer (req lvl 64), Argent Dawn (req lvl 55), and Zandalar Tribe (req lvl 55), enchants.
The enchants can be placed on gear worn by low levels (e.g. BoA gear), but the enchant will be red until the character reaches the required level. For the non BoA enchants (PreBC and BC), you have to have the gear in your inventory to enchant it. It can not be applied through the trade window (so enchanting your lowbie's quest reward gear is out).
Can i enchant this on my lvl 22 with heirloom gear?
At exalted this costs 80g.
Post-4.0.1 this now gives +21 Intellect and +16 Spirit (old values were +24 Spellpower and +6 MP5).
so... i have an important question. feel free to reply, but if i use this with my heirloom shoulders on my level 86 DK or level 90 Undead hunter, will i be able to mail them to me level 23 monk? and if i can, will i be able to equip them? thanks :D
As of 5.4, you can mail your heirloom shoulders to a level 80 or higher character, inscribe it with the
, and send it to your lower level character; it will not become soulbound to the character that inscribes it. I know there is scaling at various levels, so this may or may not be the best in slot inscription for your shoulder. On my level 61 Priest, I receive +11 Intellect and +8 Spirit. This should scale up as I level. This inscription appears to be great for PVE and PVP; however, some may prefer stamina armor kits/inscriptions like
for PVP. Both of these require another character to inscribe them at level 80.
