Looks like this might be fun for AB
Think it stacks with Azure Silk Belt?
It is best to consider Minor Glyphs as situational talents that should be evaluated before every outing. Adopting this method of gameplay will enhance your value to groups and possibly get you chosen as DPS over the next ailing lock.
This glyph makes the fishing competition trinket (
) almost useless. You don't get the fancy fish transform and lose 5% swim speed but you get an extra trinket slot and it works on the water surface. Of course, you need to be a warlock or have a lock friend handy.
Very useful for gnome locks who find themselves swimming in the shallowest of puddles.
Does anyone know if the glyphed unending breath stacks with the
aquatic form for druids?
Completing boring and tedious underwater quests faster? Yes please.
I found this glyph to be wonderful with the Kamagua quests and Kalu'ak daily at Howling Fjord, and could be useful for a few quests in Borean Tundra. Hasn't seen much use in the other zones of Northrend yet.
I clocked it with Monkeyspeed addon
Azure belt = 78%
Glyph = 81%
Glyph + belt = 81%
somehow i never notice the increase of speed. i start swimming and then cast Unending Breath and it's the same speed.
or was i drunk when i tried it?
works with the new mounted swimming system..mount moves 20% faster
Would two Glyphs stack?
Speed bonus is useful for escaping envious shamans whose Underwater Breathing glyph isn't half as cool.
LOL, why run from a shaman? they should be running from us.
Should be much more useful for the new underwater areas in Cataclysm such as questing in the Sunken City of Vashj'ir realm...
works with buff that give +swim speed?
This adds 10% to Sea Legs
To all of the
owners out there, this glyph will not affect your turtle's swim speed.
Finally, my own warlock aquatic form! I was hoping to be able to transform into a demonic seal or something though. :(
I noticed my underwater movement speed on my character sheet shows 67% while underwater. When I apply
, it goes up to 81%. That's an increase of only 14%. I am also glyphed with
which should give me a total increase of 40%. Am I missing something? If the glyph doesn't stack with the base spell speed increase, then the glyph is useless unless they are meaning targets other than yourself. Either way, this is a total speed increase of 14%. Carbonite addon shows the same changes in speed: -33% w/o spell, and -19% with spell. An increase of 14%.
Edit: According to a GM, this is a known issue and they are working to resolve it. I asked if it is supposed to be a total increase of 40% when
is used with
and he said he wasn't sure what the intended speed would end up being, only that there was something wrong in the coding. I'm leaving this comment up in case someone, like me, has the same issue and a google search sends them in the same endless circle it sent me.
Edit: Guess the GM was wrong?
Before patch 7.0.3 this was the
Glyph of Unending Breath
(Minor), its effect was:
Increases the swim speed of targets affected by your
spell by 20%.
This effect was incorporated into base spell.
