Umm, wow. One of the most useful utility spells there is in the game, now not even requiring a reagent?
I'd almost guarantee this is a must-have for pretty much any spec, seeing this as a minor.
The true value of this glyph might not be obvious at first. It's very existence will add "I forgot I dropped Glyph of Unburdened Rebirth" to the list of excuses Druids will use when they don't bring seeds to instances.
This is a much needed buff for Druids of all specs.
The lack of minor glyphs (now that graphic changes have been nixed) is rather annoying. We have a plethora of really interesting major glyphs which force you to make difficult decision for each spec and playstyle, but only 6 minor?
Aquatic Form - Increases your swim speed by 50% while in Aquatic Form.
Dash - Reduces the cooldown of your Dash ability by 20%.
Thorns - Increases the duration of your Thorns ability by 50 min when cast on yourself.
Challenging Roar - Reduces the cooldown of your Challenging Roar ability by 30 sec.
Wild - Mana cost of your Mark of the Wild and Gift of the Wild spells reduced by 50%.
Unburdened Rebirth - Your Rebirth spell no longer requires a reagent.
Aquatic -- useful for questing
Dash -- useful for PVP, and some PVE (especially while questing, and for lowbies)
Thorns -- useful for tanking, questing & PVP if you don't get purged/dispelled/stolen
Roar -- useful for tanking
Wild -- sort of useful for questing, and some use in PVP if you're purged/dispelled/stolen and feel like rebuffing. Would have been useful for raiding, but Bliz changed GotW to affect all raid members, so...
Rebirth -- useful for all specs, all times.
As nice as it would be to save a bag slot, looks like I'll be using Aquatic, Dash and Thorns. I really, *really* hate recasting thorns while doing dailies, reduced Dash would be useful for PVP, and I can't stand swimming slowly (even as infrequently as it may be required, it's worth it swim faster than travel form). I imagine new druids would jump all over the Rebirth glyph, but us old folks have been carrying around a stack of seeds for years. Restocking addons are your friends.
The toughest decision would be choosing which one to drop as a tank. Having a 2 min 30 sec Challenging Roar could mean the difference between saving the day and a long walk for your entire group.
This minor glyph will be used by every druid in the game who is capable of critical thought!
Why? (I don't want to repeat the previous possitive comments) So I will just mention this - think of the tons of money that will be saved over time. Imagine playing an year with this glyph. It will save you a huge sack of money
You do the math for every time you use rebirth around 45 s goes down the drain (assuming the new reagent is similar to the old and cost 50 s , and the reduction from rep ... ).
This glyph is great if used with Glyph of Rebirth (
). Really useful...
In Mists of Pandaria this glyph has changed. The reagent cost for Rebirth has been permanently removed.
OLD: Glyph of Unburdened Rebirth - Your Rebirth spell no longer requires a reagent.
NEW: Glyph of Blooming - Increases the bloom heal of your Lifebloom when it expires by 50%, but its duration is reduced by 5 sec and your Healing Touch, Nourish, and Regrowth abilities no longer refresh the duration.
the new Glyph of Blooming is an excellent pvp glyph for an extra big heal while being forced to move.
depending on playstyle, it could have limited uses in pve, but it is so important for resto druids to keep up lifebloom to proc clearcasting that using this glyph becomes way too much work.
Well the actual use of this glyph is PvP-only, but it shines in all situations.
Normally you don't get to cast many Regrowths/HTs anyway, and the longer duration is a hindrance because in fairness, either you will need a big heal before it would normally bloom, or you're getting dispelled constantly (and if you get dispelled, it blooms so you get 50% more bang out of it).
I'm still having a hard time finding place for it with Efflorescence (+20% to Swiftmend, permanent AoE on demand + the old Efflorescence isn't of much use in PvP anyway since you're not usually stationary and there aren't enough targets to heal) Prowl (used to it) and Barkskin (invaluable), also worthy of mention are Dash, Might of Ursoc and possibly Regrowth, if your clit chance is horrible.
Also, at times, I do like to keep LB up with the occasional NS+HT or if I can get a regrowth off, instead of being forced to cast LB for no reason every 10 sec if what I described above isn't happening. Takes a GCD you could've used to shift or dispel, and those 5 seconds can come in handy. But it's too situational. The biggest issue I have with not glyphing this in PvP is that if I DO use a cast heal, I usually need to pump some one up yes? Which means it would be nice if the damn thing bloomed.
