This tabard, while worn in level 80 dungeons, awards 5 reputation per mob and 30 reputation per boss. (Non-human rep gains.)
Where is the faction vendor stands? Cant find him on wowhead.
All reputation gains while in level 80 dungeons are applied to your Argent Crusade standing.
Edit: You can get that tabard at Friendly
The design is a throwback to the good old
Argent Dawn Tabard
Tabard of the Protector
Not nearly as cool, though.
The equip effect on this tabard is brilliant, most surely reducing the time needed to grind reputation with these people by a lot. A tabard that's useful for more than it's good looks, who would've known.
All faction's tabards will work like this on 80.
so do you gain rep in any dungeon considered lvl 80 or is it only heroic dungeons? the highest lvl dungeons have lvl 79 mobs...
Thank goodness it doesnt look like the normal Argent Dawn tabard... if it did I would have
of them... = )
One of four tabards that can be equipped to self-select reputation gains in Northrend dungeons:
Tabard of the Argent Crusade
Tabard of the Ebon Blade
Tabard of the Kirin Tor
Tabard of the Wyrmrest Accord
At the Argent crusade standards around you can clearly see the golden sun with a hand in, just the same as on the Ashbringer ->
is it only HC or is it also those you can search in normal too.. (search in LFM example)
This guy is under the tent EAST of the guy in lightbringer armor (Highlord Tirion Fordring)
Another thing about the tabard ( and any of the other reputation champion tabards) is that while wearing it in an heroic run and making achievements in that run, you get 250 rep points per achievement, which is pretty sweet, i dont know if anyone else has commented on this but it is sometimes an overlooked fact.
Okay, maybe I'm having a "blonde-dude" moment, or maybe I'm just wrapping my mind around this wrong, but just for clarification:
If you have this tabard on, and you are in a Northrend dungeon, and you kill a mob
that grants reputation
, instead of the rep going to it's
faction, it will go towards the Argent Crusade, correct?
If this is not the case, I'm assuming then that, when you have this tabard on,
in Northrend dungeons will grant you rep, and the points will go towards the Argent Crusade.
I'm fairly certain it's the first one, but I just wanted to make sure I fully understood.
For the Record, every mob in heroic mode grants rep towards the Alliance Vanguard/Horde Expedition. Wearing this, the wyrmrest accord, kirin tor or the ebon blade tabard CONVERTS that rep to the faction whose tabard you're wearing.
List of dungeons that give rep:
Utgarde Pinnacle (norm)
Culling of Stratholme (norm)
Halls of Lightning (norm)
All Northrend Heroic instances.
I have noticed on my mage, that I seem to be getting Silver Covenant and Frostborn rep as well. Maybe, once the Alliance Vanguard is maxed out, you earn rep with the subfactions of the Alliance Vanguard/Horde Expedition?
does not look too bad
An excellent tabard to have while running around in heroic randoms, since I wasn't looking forward to grinding through to exalted.
Still, not as pretty as the
one...white is awfully hard to keep clean when you're battling green goo spewing Scourge every day. Yuck!
I just bought this tabard, but it wasn't completely 1g...?
is it possible to get rep on low lwl under 68?
so that i could get it with my lowlwl Pala?
Confirmed that at Level 85 this Tabard still grants Argent Rep in Wrath Heroics.
Can any tell me if you get the rep gain while were the tabard in the cata dungeons since there higher lv?
Im lvl 84 now Do I need to be lvl 85 to be able to go for Wrath Heroics?
If I got i right I can only get Argnt Reputation I have to have a tabard on a do WLTK hc dungeon?
The theories are turth, there's a way for low-levels to earn Argent Crusade Reputation till 'Friendly', then wear that Tabard.
- Near the Noxious Glade, kill some of the undead creatures, they will give you some reputation. Possibly this will work till Exalted too, but a great way for some low-levelled player wear that tabard.
anyone can get this tabard unless your friendly, then u can bye it. I have this on my worrior with his mog set
It's avaible to everyone over level 10+
, all you have to do is earn enough JPs to be able to buy reputation gain-items in
Guide for players below the zone lvl:
1) At low levels , specially starter/trial-accounts,
can gain it by doing enough Battlegrounds and accumilate enough HP (~1000 HP should be enough)
2) trade those 1000 HPs for JPs in Orgrimmar/Stormwind.
each batch of 500
as of latest patch )
3) u can travel to
in Northrend from either:
-- Zeppelin in Orgrimmar (horde)
-- ship in
Before you travel to Northrend, make sure you have enough gold (4+ recomended) for the high flight-path cost
4) travel to Dalaran, once there, go to your faction's elf quarter in the city and there will be a Justice Quartermaster who sell
and then just buy enough to gain frendly.
5) go to the center of Dalaran, use the
which will teleport you to the ground below.
Once on the ground, walk (preferably RIDE) your way
, recommended that you facehug the mountainside if you're low level.
6) Once you come across a big opening in the northern mountains, just head north and you'll come across a large ridge/sloop were the large
camp lay on the right-side and the
is on the highest-level/"hill" of the camp. the vendor is a bit hidden, on the right of
Highlord Tirion Fordring
who have a long repeated conversation with
The Ebon Watcher
(Darion Mograine) about their present situation.
once at camp, just walk around the camp until the above mentioned NCP's conversation start
and then walk to the source and the to the right the vendor stands a bit hidden.
Hope it helps
They should consider to remake the tabard it looks so old.. Make the colors more sharper
Got this today on my level one. So it is possible to get, under level 10, with a bit of rep farming.
This video shows where to buy the tabard :)
This should probably go without saying, but Wrath rep tabards work in time walking dungeons for people who want to farm lots of rep without having to run out and reset instances constantly.
how do i get to frendly on a off month no timewalking

Does not seem to be available during Shadowlands Pre-patch event. The vendor is no longer at the argent vanguard
TL;DR - You can still get the tabard during Shadowlands pre-patch and beyond, but need to use a character that hasn't progressed the Icecrown story-based zone phasing. Read more below.
Following Patch 9.0.1 and 9.0.2, during the Shadowlands Pre-Patch Events, Veteran Crusader Aliocha Segard (the Quartermaster that sells this tabard) was relocated to the Argent Tournament and no longer sells the Tabard. However, there is a workaround -- if you have a character that hasn't completed the Wrath of the Lich King storyline, you can take this character to the Eastern Plaguelands and run a few quests out of Light's Hope Chapel and Tyr's Hand (each rewarding between 15 and 300 Argent Crusade rep), and easily get to Friendly. Then, go to Icecrown and visit the Argent Vanguard where the Quartermaster still appears in the first-phased version of the fortress, near the top. You can then easily buy the tabard from him. However, do not complete any quests in the area - because that will phase the Argent Vanguard to the latest version where he s no longer present. Enjoy!
