Visually these match the Valorous Bonescythe rogue set.
As of now (11/29/08) these are the best feral tanking boots, being slightly better than the ones you can get with 40 Badges of Valor (

Personally, I neglect hit rating for the most part while tanking. This can be risky considering mobs (especially bosses, even with glyph) can resist your taunt, although if you aren't relying on that in the first place (save the few encounters in which you
to taunt like Four Horsemen) missing a few hits here and there isn't a cause for concern.
is somewhat important, with a minimum of 6.5% "reduction" (102 Expertise rating) to avoid having your attacks dodged, up to 15% reduction (236 Expertise rating) to parries to avoid taking burst damage from successive parries off a boss mob. Note that you can get 10 Expertise (82 Expertise rating if I'm not mistaken) from the
Dodge is our one and only avoidance attribute so I'm sure I don't have to explain its importance. Druids gain more dodge "per value" from agility than from dodge rating! Not to mention the slight armor gain, extra critical strike chance & the ATP you gain in cat form.
Armor (physical damage mitigation/reducton) seems to be the only attribute we aren't able to focus on improving very much. Your options are: using talents (
& Survival of the Fittest in 3.0.8), using higher item level armor, using (leather) armor with bonus armor value (non-existant in wotlk at time of writing) and using staves/jewelry/trinkets with bonus armor (becoming significantly less powerful in patch 3.0.8).
Everyone loves druids for having ginormous amounts of HP, so stack that stamina sky-high and have everyone drool over your attractive health numbers.
For yellow slots you have +8 Hit Rating/+12 Stamina or +8 Defense Rating/+12 Stamina.
While Defense isn't needed for druids anymore for Crit reduction...It still provides Dodge, and I value dodge over a little Hit any day. Especially in a situation like now where Tanks are pulling double the TPS of the DPS on bosses so threat isn't even an issue like it was in BC where the Tank's TPS was a measurable limiting factor on Raid DPS.
This is why Tanks don't go for Hit Rating.
Rogues who have been unlucky on Dawnwalkers, should go for these. They match t7.5 and help greatly in getting you to the Expertise Cap.
