Excellent boots if you're stacking block value, as I am. Protection Warrior will get a huge benefit from these, due to the shield block talent.

Among the best boots a protection paladin can get. After reaching the block cap (possibly helped by theese boots) you can count your BV as effective health. After talents they give 100 block value, whitch translates to taking 100 less damage ON EVERY SINGLE (physical) ATTACK.

In my opinion one of the biggest disappointments in Naxx for a Protection Warrior. Compared to http://www.wowhead.com/?item=44201, as a Prot warrior with http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40089 sockted in it

Some would consider these boots a downgrade from the Sabatons, I can go either way.

These boots seem to be screwed up. I'd say these were meant to have 93 stam...or something.

If you have these and are dissatisfied, post in the bugs section of the official wow forums, maybe they'll correct it (lol).

The lost stats going from the sabatons to these is more than made up for by the BV you get. However it is true that depending on your defense rating these may not be the best choice. All a matter of itemization in the end

Kind of similar to Terrace Defence Boots from Drak'tharon heroic. I don't think it's worth buying the epic ones if you already have these.

Bought them today for 900G for my Prot warrior. True that you have to juggle with having less +DEF, but gained 2% on my Block. To address a post above, Block is mitigation, Dodge is avoidance...

These are getting fixed up with more stamina when 3.1 comes out.

EDIT: They'll have 94 stamina, to be exact.

Wrrronggg. Block is avoidance, if it was mitigation you would still take some form of damage when you blocked =)

Last I checked, you do take damage any time you block, maybe not on trash, but for a boss you will, unless you magically get such a high BV that you manage to block ALL the incoming damage from the swing.

These are the threat-oriented pair of boots. If you want a little more defensive option, check Sabatons of Endurance off Thaddius

that is wrong. the thaddius boots are MUCH better threat boots.
