On all the different toons I've had to get this item it only dropped from the Stranglethorn Tigresses around where Bhag'thera is.

ive killed about 50 of them and have yet to see it drop :( drop rate sucks

Drop after around 30 kills. Just turn up & grind early on so you at least get good exp.

I got mine after like 10 on one toon and after 80 something on another, so it's all luck. It's an easy xp grind anyway. Shadowcat hide skinners can get off the panthers sell very well too.

Talk about controlling the pet population. I spayed, neutered, and charbroiled enough of these to put Bangalash out his misery 6 times before getting the drop.

I've been working on this quest for 4 days and still haven't gotten the fang.

EDIT: After 4 1/2 days of grinding on the Tigresses it finally dropped just now.

this is a group drop. so if your in a group everyone gets it.

I was really negative about this item after reading the comments, but thankfully I got mine about after 10 kills.

Killing the tigresses isn't that bad either, they usually drop some junk that sells for 8/7 silver.

It doesn't realy depens if your lucky or not, It depens what level you are, If your level 39+ you will probaly get it in 10 kills. Higher level you are, The more % drop . I did this on my 4 70's and all my 4 70's I got this in 3 kills.

Took me a long time to get one to drop, killed nothing but the tigresses for about 30-45 min, finally got one. Good luck.

I really hate BS quests like this. What were they thinking to throw in a 5% drop rate on a quest item. It took me over an hour to find one of these things. My buddy and I killed so many, we couldn't find anymore. It was as if we killed them off to extinction.

You can find plenty of the Tigress' needed all around the hill where King Bangalash is.

Took me roughly 30 kills to get the drop.

I've been killing those tigress for ages now.. Prolly killed about 50 or so.. And it still havn't dropped.. I'm going crazy soon :P Imo the droprate is waaaay to low.. or too random simply.. killing about 10-12 panthers to get those claws and then 50+ tigeress.. NOT funny xD

I created a wowhead accout to post this...i killed over 50 tigresses and still without the damned fang lol...and im counting, 52 till now, so, if ure going to try, prepare yourself, get some food, maybe something to drink and slaughter them to extinction

This is real! I think WoW has a system of drop rate like this: If you don't kill for a while, your drop rate increases a bit (don't know why). I was reading these comments after grinding for this quest item then I went back to the game, killed one and got it, for the first time! So try resting for a while and do this and comment me to prove if it works. ;D

It took me three kills to get the Pristine Tigress Fang. It took me a little bit of time.

It seens like they have changed this... did it two times already on 3.2 and got the fang after 4 or 5 kills...pretty easy now
