New Zone Specific Flasks, these are flasks that can only be used inside Gruul's Lair.
From the 2.1.0 patch notes:
"Arcanist Xorith of the Scryers and Haldor the Compulsive of the Aldor will sell specialized flasks only usable in raid zones to players who are exalted with Cenarion Expedition: the Sha'tar and the Scryers or the Aldor (respectively). The flasks will only be purchasable with tokens obtained from creatures in Tempest Keep: The Eye, The Serpentshrine, and The Black Temple."
This is one of the new flasks introduced in patch 2.1 that anyone with a flying mount can make (you do not need alchemy) and are not BoP so you can give them to anyone. The catch is that it is only usable in the Blade's Edge Plateaus and Gruul's Lair.
To make one, you need 10 Apexis Shards gathered from mobs in Blade's Edge that are located in either section only accessible with a flying mount. Then, for this particular flask, you travel to either of the Forge Camps located north and south of Ogri'la and find the Fel Crystalforge which will be in the center of the area guarded by a few non-elite mobs. It is definitely not a good idea to fly there because of the newly implemented fel cannons (71 elites) that will shoot you out of the air.
Is it stackable with Elixirs?
you need 35 shards to make this flask
Food buffs stack with anything but other food buffs.
The Unstable Flask of the Beast gives these stats to a level 70 Warrior:
40 Attack Power
0.61% Crit Chance
0.67% Dodge Chance
The Unstable Flask of the Soldier gives these:
40 Attack Power
0.91% Crit Chance
Statwise, for a Warrior, you're better off taking the Soldier flask if you do DPS, and if you're a tank, the Beast flask for the extra dodge chance.
As stated above, these only work in Blade's Edge Plateaus (area only accessible by flying mount), not Blade's Edge Mountains. If you where thinking of giving these to an alt while leveling, it is a waste of shards.
is for HKM and Gruul fights pretty good and cheap
just go to forge camp: wrath. for those who might not have coordinates.
