Stacking the proc with a trinket while you have beserk and then aimmedshotting a mage is probably about the most satisfying thing Ive ever experienced.

I spent my flying mount money for it, but It was well worth it (only 600g).

I am a hunter, and I'm tempted to use it, but I prefer bows over guns and epic mounts over regular ones so I'll sell it probably.

Read above its 7.5%. Just got mine recently 850g on staghelm and yes that is insanely cheap. Gun is really nice seems like it procs all the time. Procs will not stack but it does refresh the 10sec. Very cool green bubble type thing when you shot any special shot i.e. arcane, multi, also arcane shots are purple when fired from this gun. All in all this gun is amazing and you cant argue with the burst damage youll get out of it for the proc.

I bought it for quite alot more, though it is only money in a game, so I do not really bother about it.

The proc is between 5 and 7.5%, proccs awefuly often.
Combine this with a trinket of your choice, like the one from Black Morass (it will be fixed in patch 2.10 for range AP, by the way) and use rapid fire, it's a blast.

Not to mention aimed shots.

I downloaded procrate and after 5000 shots (steady, auto, arcane, multi) the proc rate was 4%. Did they nerf this gun in the last patch?

Also on another note the proc rate for Hourglass was 2.5% with 35% crit.

I found this in Sethekk Halls (heroic) from the first mob killed (called Sethekk Guard). There was no hunter in the group (or anybody with hunter alt), so it was free for all.

I was told bidding should start at 600 at least, even though I think I'm going to make a friend happy with it instead of selling it.

Dropped a few minutes ago from the trash before The Curator. I picked it up and it procced about every 10th shot during the Curator fight.

This awesome proc rate might have been triggered by the curator's evocation, but I am unsure of that.

Procs Really often, and sometimes even while i have the bless of the gun.

When this happens, it jsut reset the 10 second time back to 10-9 -8 Proc- 10-9-8

According to Cheeky's DPS Calc, this bow out DPS's Sunfury Bow of the Phoenix http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28772#comments. Im guessing it throws in the proc rate of Santos' Blessing. I currently have this gun and love it, but would i be making a mistake not to use it over Sunfury?

Just picked this up last night on the Arathor server and put the +28 crit scope on and wow, what a weapon. This thing does some serious damage, especially when it procs. I use it when I'm soloing with the Skyguard Silver Cross (http://wowhead.com/?item=32770) and when they both proc that's an additional 390AP. Boom, headshot!

People will say there are better ranged weapons in the game that drop in the raid instances and they're right. However, if you don't raid much (or at all) and just do solo and small group stuff this gun is a worthwhile investment. Not cheap, but worth it IMO.

i just bought it for 750 (outbid, regular was 650 at the monet but i didnt want to wait) on our heavily populated server; looking forward to try it, according to therycraft this is the third best rifle for bm hunter! (who is not a mathematical maniac with loads of za haste gear :) i'm nevertheless sure that because i had finally decided to spend the money, i'm gonna drop wolfslayer my next kara raid :D

Hmmm am I missing something? The proc rate on my experience is VERY low. I mean... I'm farming lower level mobs (64) at a high-speed rate and the the proc occurs once in a while... Is it really worth the price, compared to other stuff that could give +stats maybe? Well of course this is (maybe) the only purple ranged we can see on AH so... but the price seems to be too high, related to the final damage/advantage you get.

Is it really a "price/performace" deal?

Today while doing my daily... dailies :) I've been quite disappointed by the proc. I've managed to kill 20 mobs in a row without a single santo's blessing. Then, while killing the number 21... I've got 3... 3 procs. with 3 shots. I guess this gun works very well in raids/instances against bosses, where you have to shot LOTS of bullets to down the enemy. In the daily routine, my proc's experience is very poor, I mean I'd prefere to have some +stat instead of a random (and quite rare...) +250AP proc.
Speed it's ok of course :)

start saving badges for the 150 badge gun, swap to that, and never worry about guns again

Saw this on the AH this morning for 1250g and snapped it up right away and it's still awesome for a bm hunter.

Just a tip, if like me you neglected to raise gun skill much and are looking for a fast and easy way to level it, take a trip to the Stair of Destiny in HFP and shoot on the elite demons at the portal for a while, they hardly ever agg and I went from about 50 - 330ish in hardly anytime at all.

Brought this today, lovily looking gun! Also have 刺刀长枪, which when socketed with two 精致赤玉石, is easily a far superior weapon in comparison. Once I've hit 70 going to transmogrify 刺刀长枪 into this weapon.

this gun is awesome for transmog. it has a unique animation when it fires, sort of like the red smoke from the AQ worm guns, but much more exaggerated. each shot causes green sparks to come out of the tip and large green circles to appear out of the yellow tube on the barrel. it's definitely a really cool effect and the gun is easily worth picking up on the AH if you see it for a decent price.
