How do you figure the the blue belt is better? The girdle of ferocity has more armor, +7 agi, +19 sta, and +6 int along with +13 to hit rating. The only thing it loses is that it is -28 ap over the revered Sha'tar belt and I don't see how you could ever take 28 ap over the advantages of the Girdle of Ferocity. Your dmg is not going to increase that much and you can make up for that 28 ap elsewhere with enchants on your gaunts or bracers basically.

Virtually all level 70 epic items are being changed (either buffed or rebudgeted) in 2.1 now. All of the heroic 5-man epics are receiving buffs, some minor, some major.

New Stats for the Girdle of Ferocity in 2.1:
438 Armor (+39)
28 Agility (+1)
21 Stamina (+2)
22 Intellect (+1)
14 hit rating (+1)
44 Attack Power (+2)

there is LOADS of hunter bets that shamys just got to choose because there isnt anny better.
