Very good stats on this 1% hit, 1% crit, nice AP and stamina.

Has all the stats any rogue or dps warrior wants. Of course there's hunters and druids that will try to ninja but hunters don't need that much +hit (at least nothing like rogues and dual wielding warriors need) and druids, well druids can just go respec moonkin and steal spell damage gear.

Another way blizzard screwed itemization in BC. Although Khara isnt exactly difficult, ZG loot never did compare with scholomance.

One of the best Rings for melee/ranged dps.

There are only 10 rings with + crit rating around and the + hit rating is always nice for Raiding and hitting "higher level bosses".

Ring of Umbral Doom seems similar to this, so a ring from an easy run of Botanica compared to a Karazhan run to Prince Malchazaar, which would you choose.... hope it gets upgraded a little to match up to level standards.

I got this ring the other day, and as a rogue it kicks ass for me.

BUT I am rather dissapointed in the upgrades from blue to purple after TBC... Anyways: kickass ring for dps classes, tho fury warriors and rogue gets the most out of the hit rating, a hunter should grab this too=)

Might wanna notice:

This is one of the few good fury warrior rings out there obtainable for mortals. You might want to save up your dkp for this baby :)

I'm not saying like the loot is flawed, but 90% of all epic dps rings looks to have agi on it :S Never strenght, ever!

in reply to oddeirik, every physical DPS does benefit from AGI, but some more that others. in the case of fury warriors and enhance shamans, they are both "off", in the meaning the shamans are hybrids, and cant have one tr00 spec, and fury is not essential, its just another DPS, wich can be replaced by anny other dps (in most cases).

the cocckiecuters are the ones the itemisation is aimed for, and then all dps items have agi, as both rogues and hunters make good use of agi.

while it is true that Raw AP doesn't scale with kings, but the Raw AP makes this ring great for any physical DPS Class. If the ring had Agi on it, warriors and melee shaman would get less AP (but a little crit/armor/dodge), and if it had Str on it Hunters would get less AP.

Besides, if it had Agi it would be too similar to Garona' Signet Ring.

And if it had Str it would be too similar to Mithril Band of the Unscarred.

The way it works is, there is a ring that benefits DPS warriors/shaman more than other DPS classes (Mithril), and there is a ring that benefits Rogues/Hunters more than other classes (Garona), at least in terms of how much overall DPS they can get out of that slot. Mithril Ring is great for Shamans because they don't need very little hit, if any (I don't recall) to cap.

www.maxdps.com rankings reflect this. For warriors and enh shaman, Mithril Band is ranked higher than Garona's, and for rogues and hunters, the Mithril Band isn't even ranked because of the strength.

Prince, the final boss with good lewt for the content level, drops a ring that benefits ALL the physical DPS classes. The same applies with the Raw AP on the Kara Exalted Rep Ring, Violet Signet of the Master Assassin, and it makes sense since there is only one rep ring that all the Physical DPS classes can choose.

This ring (1000 marks) is ranked higher for ALL physical DPS classes then any other ring in Kara, including the exalted rep one. Basically, if you are following progression (i.e. im not assuming that you are buring OP badge gear) you will want to get the DPS ring that helps your class (Mithril Band or Garona), and then use the Rep Ring until you can get this from Prince, then use 1000 marks and either Mithril Band or Garona depending on your class.
