Get disarm immunity and don't lose hate to the disarmers in kharazan! Otherwise pretty darn expensive, sheesh.
Craftable on THUNDERHORN Horde side.

crafting them on Burning Legion, Horde side.
Khezed Horde - Magtheridon can make them.
Pretty neat gauntlets, especially the immune to disarm part - can save you a few talents in arms spec and fury is also better with weapons on; and even better if you can get weapon slots free for enchants.
seems to be pretty rare though; the recipe that is.
This pretty gloves is imo superior the Gladiator gloves. Who wants the crap equip -3 ragecost on hamstring?
imo these are the best gloves to get if your doing arena. you can free up points in weapon mastery and get something useful like imp intercept or hamstring. also lets you save up arena points for the more important 1875 gear.
These are one of the best pvp gauntlets in the game currently. Disarm will always be a major concern against other warriors and rogues with the right build and with these you wont have to take up a weapon enchant for a chain or spend 2 talent point on Weapon Mastery which you can easily spend on imp.intercept and feel good about yourself. The pattern is very rare and only a few can make this on my server and looking at the mats they will probably cost around 1000g to have made.
60x Fel Iron Ore
40x Eternium Ore
50x Mote of Earth
50x Mote of Water
50x Mote of Air
50x Mote of Fire
50x Mote of Mana
1x Primal Nether
Very nice ratio between quality and mats needed for craft it, the mats are easy to obtain in less than 2 days.
I think you will not spend for this more than 300g if you farm all the mats.
Overall a pretty decent crafted epic also the Immune to Disarm bonus makes this a must for Fury warriors.
Item level 105 (not that good, only "good" is the immune to disarm part). Fury will sure like that for pvp, but then you usually have the enchant Immune to disarm in the offhand and some gloves witch sick damage boosting stats instead of some low item level gloves like these. ;)
Example might be:
Enchant in OH:
Think most would agree with me on this one. 1000 gold for the gloves, no thanks.. I rather go Karazhan (easiest instance in BC) and get better, and pay a 190 skill Blacksmith to do me the OH enchant, like max 100 gold? 900 gold left for other stuff. ;)
(trying to make people realize something, but guess the -rep needs to learn the hard way :P)
These are probably THE best gloves out there atm. Why waste an enchant slot ofr a weapon chain? Get these gloves and still have that cool crusader or mongoose enchant. It's called having your cake and eating it too. Steel Weapon Chain was always pointless and still is. I wouldn't pay more than 10g for it since it's so useless. If you are using a two-hander then these gloves are a must have! Stats are great and offer lovely sockets and bonus too. DO NOT enchant your weapon with Weapon Chain, unless you can't get these....and even then. I would gladly pay the cash for these. More options while dueling is always better :)
~M_D~ Savagery + Steelgrip Gauntlest FTW! :D
the older brother of Death Grips(
) like Mack said it will cost more than 300 gold to make this. but its totaly worth it
The Warrior talent to grant disarm immunity is being reworked in 2.3 to reduce disarmed duration by 25/50%, making these a little more useful. If you already have arena gloves, you're probably better off putting a weapon chain on your backup weapon and using that when needed. Remember that you can switch weapons mid-fight but not your gloves. Only two out of nine classes can disarm, one requiring a certain talent spec and the other requiring a certain level of skill to do effectively, but it's still a huge inconvenience when it happens to you.
If you DON'T yet have arena gloves, I'd get the other four pieces of the arena set first and go ahead and have a pair of these made.
Edit: Latest news is that all disarm immunities are being changed to 50% duration reduction, presumably including both these gloves and weapon chains. Same advice still applies - backup weapon with chain if possible.
not only is disarm immunity being nerfed to 50% reduction in duration but in pvp Disarm will be subject to diminishing returns.
How well would these work for a Ret Paladin if socketed right?
So....theese useless now or what?
As a warrior, I have gladiator 4/5 but I use these gloves because I choose to. By using them I can save talent points and put them elsewhere. Also the strenght and stamina is the same as season 1 if put 8 Reselience and 4 Reselience + 6 stamina gem on them, and only 9 less reselience. For those who want to go deeper into arms tree or spend points in enrage and flurry this is the choice.
I had these made right when I hit 70 and am finally replacing them with the S3 gloves. Great bang for your buck and if you are leveling up I say have these made right when you hit 70 like I did and spend your arena /honor points on other pieces, because these will last you a while.
Sucks the disarm skill got nerfed, but they still save you talent points.
Great for ret paladins too, who have no other way of dealing with Disarm, except the weapon enchant.
Not that you see many retadins in Arena, but it seems that will change come 3.0.
