If you are unable to properly use this trinket, or unable to "pause and activate a trinket", then don't worry. You'll never see one. This trinket is the current BEST healing trinket in the game. Very few will ever lay eyes on it, due to the amount of skill and coordination required to reach content of this level.

This is one of the best healing trinkets for ToL druids. It combined with http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29376 when used at the same time will give you a wooping +750 healing on your next 5 lifeblooms, and since lifeblooms keeps the original +healing when renewed its awsome, so for example you can stack it 3 times on the MT and 2 on the OT while having that sweet +750 bonus!

You cannot "Use" "Eye of the Dead" and "Essence of the Martyr" at the same time. You can "use" one of them 30 seconds after the other.

Also works wonders for Healing Stream totem. "Pop" your trinkets and drop the totem. For 95 mana you get almost 200 healing (depending on the rest of your gear and talents) every 2 seconds to everyone in range for 2 whole minutes.

edit: to further clarify this, it seems that 2 healing trinkets can be used together (any trinket that has a tooltip indicating that healing is more than damage), while 2 damage trinkets (where damage and healing are the same number) can't. This has been shown many times on various forums. It could possibly be changed at some point, but so far it still works that way.

Have this on my Pally, Redion. IMO still one of the best healing trinkets today. If you happen to have enough luck to pick this up in a retro naxx pug, I would do so. Some would kill to have this trinket right now.

The healing gained from the use effect is amazing, even for BC content. Would be useful for any healers to try to get in on a Naxx pug just to grab this trinket. You probably won't be replacing it until Wotlk

Note that unlike most spell damage/healing trinkets now this one has a 30 second duration while still having a 2 minute cooldown

Use this item in conjunction with Tome of Diabolic Remedy for +846 healing, the highest available with Use Trinkets, even in BC, and as far as I can tell, WotLK so far.

Was it recently nerfed (since 3.0.8), for some unapparent reason? That's odd. I remember it had 40 spellpower and now I look at it and it's 37.
