I went to the undead in Thunder Bluff, only to find he was happily selling donuts and lemonade. I had no other option other than to buy/sell to him.

Maybe blizzard hasn't added in feature yet.

We will have to wait and see.

This quest brought me to Cenarion Hold in Silithus. After the 9 minute flight from Orgrimmar, all I found was an NPC that sells the items mentioned above. No conversation window opens when you talk to him, just a display of whatever he's selling.

Not worth your time imo. The food/drinks sold are for level 45 characters.

For Horde this quest refers you to Miles Welsh, a Priest Trainer in Thunder Bluff.

I went relay this message to him and he won't speak to me, not even the "I don't train your kind here, scram." message you usually get from a trainer that isn't your class.

He does however sell lemonade and Friendship Bread.

Either Blizzard messed up, I'm doing this "quest" earlier than I should be, or the letter wasn't meant to be taken seriously... I donno why they'd reinforce the idea that you should go find him if it wasn't meant to be done though.

The point of it is the items. If you eat either of them you will find hearts above your head, basically a thank you for the information you brought the NPC. It's just a little something they added for fun, we have vanity pets, think of this as vanity food, nothing more.

You will find this is the same (from my research) as all the people who vend such items.

Blizzard removed the dialogues from NPCs if they only have one choice.
So, Elissa speaks only to mages, as they have two choices, mage training, and the quest foods.
What she says is:

Ah, you're the one who found the letter.
Thank you for the... news, I suppose, about my family.
You're welcome to what food and drink I can offer.

Confirmed today that the Freshly Squeezed Lemonade does NOT count towards the It's Happy Hour Somewhere achievement.

HOWEVER. The Friendship Bread DOES count towards the Tastes Like Chicken achievement, so be sure to buy a few and eat them while you can.

Hmm...Miles Whelsh is a Priest Trainer...this means that you have to be a priest to talk to him...though if you're not you just have to keep kicking undead ass to get the one that is only for your class :)
Not bothering farming them for hours though :P
