This is another one of those items that appeared in the Ahn'Qiraj patch. This weapon can sometimes be seen on the Auction House for 500+g, however, do not be fooled. Only purchase if you REALLY need, cannot get another better weapon, or if you have enough gold to purchase it.

May have something to do with the book series "Sword of Truth". The name of the weapon could be referencing Zeddicus "Zedd" Zu'l Zorander, a wizard of immeasurable power... and humor. If you have never read the series, I strongly recommend it. The series is the best I've ever read.

Nope its Zedd's kris from the quest Zedd's Probably Dead and he is a refrence to Zedd from Pulp Fiction. A line from the movie is Zedd is dead,baby.

It's probably a reference to (as said above), Zedd, the dwarf of the Explorer's League.

This dagger's model is overused and bland, but what really stands out is the shiny enchant. It looks like glowing blue smoke radiating from the blade.

It might suit a rogue for transmog who found a shiny or bright armor set to match.

This dagger can drop off almost all trash mobs in the Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj (AQ20/AQ10).
If you're leveling a twink I don't recommend to buy it because you can get much better weapons in Outland. However, this weapon is fantastic for transmogrification, and I'm using it at my warlock.

This weapon DOES hide enchants! Using them for transmog on my Rogue, currently.
