Great item for the Vashj fight in case you get rooted. Does share a CD with healing pots though.

This potion is also very usefull against Rage Winterchill in Hyjal.
If you can't afford to drop a trinket in exchange for the medallion of the Alliance/Horde, this would be a nice substitute to excape the icey tomb. (Althought I would advise having both available for use incase one of them is on CD)

IF YOU ARE A GEARED 80 IT IS EASY TO GET THE REP TO MAKE THIS STUFF. you just need to be in a raid to get in the instance that gives the rep, all you have to do to get in a raid is go to Wintergrasp, sign up for battle, much easier than finding people who actually want to go there.

Actually not that easy you have to wait until WG is over or else it boots you from the raid.

Get this recipe while you can, It won't be obtainable any more after cata, Zg and the rep for zg is being removed, I'm glad i got this thing in WoTLK, Might be useful in some situations in cata.

As of patch 4.0.6 the use of Living Action Potion and the materials used to make it were changed.

The duration was decreased from 5 seconds to 3 seconds and the cooldown was decreased from 2 mins to 1 min.
The materials required to make it were decreased, now it does not require Heart of the Wild and only requires 1 Mountain Silversage (instead of 2)
and the 2 Icecap required is unchanged.

After patch 4.0.6:
Use: Makes you immune to stun and movement impairing effects for the next 3 sec.
Also removes existing stun and movement impairing effects. (1 Min Cooldown)
Materials:

Before patch 4.0.6:
Use: Makes you immune to Stun and Movement Impairing effects for the next 5 sec.
Also removes existing Stun and Movement Impairing effects. (Cooldown: 2 min)

Also note, drank one of these to test it out in patch 4.0.6 and it does share a 1 min cooldown with Free Action Potion.
