~~I had hoped my Primal Ritual Shell (Fire buff) would proc it, but it doesn't appear to.~~

Update: It does, but its quite rare. The ring did 58k total damage (.1% of overall) in a +9 Ruby Life Pools and I believe the trinket is the only way I could activate it.

I see that Wake of Ashes was swapped to, "Radiant Damage," so I'm guessing the fire element was removed from this move? Does anyone happen to know if that move factors into this proc?

Apparently this is "best in slot" for Outlaw Rogues but we have no way to proc-ing the ring's ability.

I did an extra 0,5% Damage with the "Broodkeeper's Blaze" Proc as a Retribution Paladin.

Not sure if this ring proc only with "Fire" type of magic, got this ring on my death knight, and had 0 proc during dungeons. Wish it was proc while using any magic type of abilities not specific to fire.

MM and BM Hunters can proc this while using Completely Safe Rockets

plate wearers can proc it with 不稳定的霜火腰带
agi/str users can proc it with 癫狂伤逝火炬
healers can proc it with 基拉卡的灼热余烬
tanks can proc it with 烈焰彩饰
ranged can proc it with 斯科瓦尔德之眼

and naturally any class that can proc it with abilities that do fire damage, which is fire, chaos, elemental, flamestrike, frostfire, radiant, shadowflame, spellfire(npc only), volcanic.

feel free to add any other sources that deal fire damage and good luck with the rolls!

This is a huge BIS for Disc priest, more so then any other class/spec, I would argue takes first priority if a guild is running a dedicated one for mythic content, reasons are as follows:

1. Ring proc rate is increased by haste, so (as any good disc priest is stacked for haste) it's proccing for you 3-4 times a minute vs. the standard 2.

2. It's flat damage. Even for a heavily stacked haste DPS class, this ends up representing a .5%-1% dps increase. For a disc priest, this ends up being like 5-6%, especially during burst windows. 15k damage per proc, 4 procs a minute, you just basically got a 2nd Mind Games.

Picked this one from the vault today, after getting the CoS ring yesterday!

5285 dmg, crit 11070, with only ring equipped (3.62% vers) no variance on damage at all between procs and ticks.
5687 dmg, crit 12615 with gear equipped (11.50% vers) - seems to me to scale almost perfectly linearly with vers
Does 3 ticks over 6 seconds.
Looks to be about 2ppm, but will not always immediately trigger, so would _not_ recommend to rely on 1 trinket or something similar to proc it. Did not test with different haste levels.
Did _not_ proc from 魔口狂鱼 or 龙息红椒
Tested as Demon hunter without "Any means necessary" talent which makes every spell type chaos damage, if so only change should be that The Hunt could also trigger it.
Did proc from: blade dance (got both talents for chaos damage on it), death sweep, chaos strike, immolation aura, metamorph impact, fel rush, felblade, glaive tempest, eye beam

I picked this one from the Vault because it also had a gem slot and I had 集所学者的指环 with very nice procs, I assumed it would be proccing fine with Explosive Shot and nope, it does not, it does not even proc a lot while using 绝对安全的火箭 so... If it won't be changed, it's a disappointment. At least it has nice Versatility though (and mine has a gem slot) *sigh*

Great for Retribution Paladins with or without any additional fire damage from gear, as both Wake of Ashes/Radiant Decree and each tic of the DoT from 真理觉醒 can proc this. Sims higher than any other ring and according to simcraft procs twice a minute on average. However, this seems to be procs in total, not per target, as the ring procs very, very little on cleave.

As with other gear-sourced damage, benefits from your crit and your vers.

Multiple applications refresh the duration rather than add to it (bug?).

Priests with "Purge the Wicked" can proc the DoT, even though it is listed as "Radiant" damage.

Curious if this will proc more often with more items that deal fire damage for example, the Cowl and the Primal Ritual Shell. Has anyone seen proc rates with combination of any items?
I might've just screwed myself by selecting manic Grieftorch over this ring out of my vault.

does anyone know the PPM for the ring? I'd like to know, because I would like to know if you stack the Helm enchant from Amirdrassil, with a Shadowflame patch, and the Crafted plate belt or other items. Would those 3 types of flame damage get more procs out of the ring?

I'm a Ret main, and the idea of stacking those 3 ontop of the Radiant damage we do that makes a total of 4 fire types of damage.
