Cheap trinket and comes in handy when that extra boost of burst dps is needed. I picked it up for 50 DKP (guild used zero-sum) and I used it in nearly every fight for the extra bit.

There are much more better hunter trinkets in BWL, that will overall increase your DPS a ton more than if you were to wear this, i.e. Drake Fang Talisman or any other trinkets, but I find this one very lack luster.

A lot of trinkets are indeed better. But if this were to drop, definitely go for it. It's not so much of a DPS boost trinket, but it really shines in specific situations/moments such as The Suppression rooms, the tunnel leading to Fankriss and Nefarian Phase 1, just to name a few.

The biggest thing to remember with trinkets like this is that with feign/switch you can use this in a specific AoE situation, then switch to a focus-fire trinket mid-combat.

If anyone still has this, would you check to see how it interacts with Misdirection?

Does it eat 1 charge like volley? Or is it like Multi-shot where each seperate hit generates threat?

This trinket was a great experiment with specific abilities being GREATLY modified.

Although fantastically outdated, I'd love to see some of these old class specific trinkets re-appear.

The range in which it detonates is 8 yards.

The same size as a Consecration or Flare

This should be the new Arcane Shot Glyph if you know what i mean!
Seriously, it would be cool if we can have an explosive Arcane Shot, weaker than the the Explosive Shot of course but, a bit more AoE

Picked this up on my pala the other day while doing a BWL run.

Noticed that the damage was at 5k, so i thought whooaa... this must be a bug and would own if i get this on my hunter twink (60).

Later i noticed the only reason it said 5k was because it scales with spell power :(

It sais: ''Classes: Hunter'' means you can't use it on your paladin +even if a paladin could equip this, it still wouldnt help you since a paladin doesnt have a arcane shot...
