If you're confused why your character cries every time you log in.. this trinket literally makes you "Weep before the Eternals"
It says highest secondary stat and gave me litteraly the stat that i have 0 of ?
Can confirm that this makes you cry when you log in. This makes zero sense why they would add this and it will be on the top of the list of the most annoying emote things.
This trinket right now is bugged when i put it on will give me 3% vers and 3% crit and after few secend i will lose both crit and vers and i will get haste
Can confirm that it is bugged, gives me 115 of every secondary stat (HC version) but after between 5-10 sec it gives me the correct secondary increase
Can someone please tell me how to remove the crying sound? Ît's etremely annoying when in a raid some clown swaps trinket slots...
This is the best trinket ever. :D I love the sobbing effect. In fact, it's so good that it's making the commenters below and above weep! Talk about immersion!
Spam this macro next time when you're lapping in Oribos
/equipslot 13 Elegy of the Eternals
/equipslot 14 Elegy of the Eternals
Easily the most thematically appropriate trinket in the Shadowlands. Every time I log on to Oribos my character immediately starts crying.
Me too, buddy. Me too.
Interestingly, this trinket will update dynamically based on which of your stats is the highest. This could be an issue if you're relying on it to give you a certain secondary, but have a trinket, proc, or buff that gives an inordinate amount of a different secondary stat.
Example: Say you have (without the effects of elegy, and let's say that gives 120 of your highest stat)
1200 Haste (Elegy will buff this, increasing your haste to 1320.)
If you use an Enforcer's Stun Grenade that gives 900 Versatility on use, your versatility goes up to 1400, which is higher than the 1320 haste you have with elegy buffing it, so it will swap to versatility when it rechecks your stats (which happens every couple of seconds).
This results in having:
1400 Versatility (Elegy will buff this, increasing your Versatility to 1520.)
After the Enforcer's Stun Grenade wears off, elegy will jump back to buffing haste.
This can also occur with the Mastery buff from the M+10 affix in season 4, which gives 69 (nice) Mastery per stack of the imprisoned dreadlords buff.
Same as the initial scenario:
1200 Haste (Elegy will buff this, increasing it to 1320.)
If you get 15 or more stacks of the imprisoned dreadlords buff in this scenario (which gives 1035 Mastery for a total of 1335 Mastery...), Elegy will jump to Mastery for the rest of the dungeon.
