A buff that lasts for another. It gives you a Gromit that finds nothing. It goes to some spots, supposedly digs and nothing comes up. Not to mention it bugs out and disappears together with your 35 catalogue research spend on it.

As you pet it, it will get a new tag under its name. The highest I got is <Best Boy> and I pet this dude a lot so I assume it's the highest tier of boy.

Summon doesn't consume the item. Swagsnout Gromit will increase in size, go bright blue and run to a lootable cache. You must be out of combat to loot the cache, and he may run through mobs, so try to kill your way in fast. A cache only despawned on me once I think due to a bad Vanish > failed to loot.

I'm not aware of rare drops, but this will help you find additional 圣物碎片s.

Loot locations seem static, and can repeat at a later time. I looted one, stayed in the location for 5 minutes and resummed. He immediately went back to the same spot and I could loot again.

You do not need to pet the good boy to make him find caches but you should.

Is this unlimited use?

I bought it since it was cheap, and it lasts for an hour but is still in my inventory LONG past that hour running out. It also doesn't say it has a limited number of charges, but says you can only hold 20 at a time, suggesting it's consumable. And the low price also suggests it's consumable.

The gromit doesn't really have a way to indicate if something is up or down from you. If it keeps pointing in a direction that doesn't have anything, look up or down. That worked for me in Desmotaeron while looking for a Helgarde Supply Chest; it was on a bridge above me, and not showing up on my mini map. Trust the gromit!

Persists through death. Also seemed to lead me right back to an item I had just looted and there was nothing there, not sure what's up with that but I just started using him.

I was going to delete this but it seems it's no longer on the vendor. I don't know if that changed with the patch or if it was never on the vendor after the initial purchase. I wish I didn't care but I have a real problem with deleting things that are no longer obtainable lol.

EDIT: Nevermind, I took a gamble on being able to item restore it but it just shows back up on the vendor if you delete it. I did check item restoration though and it didn't show up there after a couple of minutes but I'll try to check back later today just to see.
