I'm a scribe / enchanter, but this object is available for sale to me. The recipe isn't for either of my professions. Is there any possible useful reason for me to buy this? Normally items that have no use are colored red, but this isn't.

Here's a question: Enchanters can craft wands and add mark 1 and 2 to it, why can't they craft rank 4!

If you switch professions after activating this item you will have to buy another one to learn the recipe for your new profession. It's not automatically unlocked for all eligible professions, just the ones you have at the time.

Be aware that once you learn it you will still see the item on the vendor and it will not be marked "Already Known".

So, I just bought this and learned it. Then I noticed the item was still in my inventory. Out of curiosity, I returned it to Roh-Suir for a full refund. Lo and behold, I still knew the recipe! I logged out and back in... I can still make it and it cost me nothing in the end. Take advantage of this while you can...
