Is this item bugged? I bought it yet my first death in Torghast still counts against the limit. What's odd is that after buying it, my first death in The Maw no longer drops any Stygia. It seems like the bonus was changed to be a Maw thing without changing the tooltip.

I may be wrong in this one, but the item actually increases your number of deaths from 4 to 5. If you read the tooltip it would seem like it should show 4 and don't decrease in case you die, but it simply increases the counter instead. Still, same effect (I was wondering if I could increase the death cap, then I figure this out after some reading).

I've been using this item in Torghast and have not noticed the effect working. Was running with myself and another guy who both had this item purchased. Our two many group had 8 deaths at the start, we had 1 death and the counter went to 7.

Does anyone know how this item is supposed to be working or having similar issues as myself?
