This does not prioritize the upgraded conduit by loot spec. On my Paladin my lowest two were a holy and a protection conduit and using it upgraded the holy one by one rank (ilvl 158 to 171) despite being spec'ed into and having set my loot spec to prot.

I'm confused. Does this only upgrade Conduits you already learned? Wouldn't that mean that you don't want to learn Conduits you are probably not going to use, so this upgrades the ones you want instead?

Completely random, as implied. Not worth the 1,900 stygia unless your other Conduits are all the same rank, imho. This item incentivizes you to ignore Conduits for specs you're unlikely to play.

It will teach you one of the conduits you don't have as level 145 if you are still missing any conduits.

Used one and it added a conduit I didn't previously have "Stellar Inspiration" with an ilvl of 145. I had multiple ilvl 184 ones and two ilvl 145 ones. So, it didn't upgrade the existing low ilvl ones, but added a new low ilvl one.

Posting this so no one else wastes Stygia on it: I don't know what I was expecting but the item gets consumed. So you're paying almost 2k Stygia for one random Conduit upgrade.

How high does this upgrade a conduit to? If you have all the conduits and they're all either 171 or 184, will it start randomly upgrading the 171s to 184? Or is 171 the max it can go to?

I purchased this item today with all conduits 184 or 200. It upgraded an 184 conduit (Light's Barding) to 200, so it does not appear to be "capped" beyond the current limit (presumably mythic equivalent).

WARNING:
Purchased several of these today. When purchasing the last one all my conduits were 200 or higher(the previous one upgraded the last 184) and I did not receive an item. It seems like it is capped at 200, Venari will take your currency and provide nothing.

All the information you need to know about 无拘现实碎片.

Basics:
- It is sold by Ve'nari in The Maw for 1900 Stigia each.
- You need to have Cordial rank with Ve'nari to buy it.
- You must be at your Covenant's soulbind forge to use it.
- Loot spec does not matter when using this item.
- It is consumed on use.

The item works on a priority basis as follows:
- If you are missing any conduits it will teach you these first at item level 145.
- If you have any conduits at item level 145 it will upgrade these to item level 158 first.
- If you have any conduits at item level 158 it will upgrade these to item level 171 first.
- If you have any conduits at item level 171 it will upgrade these to item level 184 first.
- If you have any conduits at item level 184 it will upgrade these to item level 200 first.
- If you have all conduits at item level 200 or higher it will upgrade these to item level 213 first.
- If you have all conduits at item level 213 or higher it will upgrade these to item level 226 last.

Edit: This item was recently changed to unique, meaning you can only buy one at a time. I think this has something to do with other comments from users where the item didn't upgrade a conduit for them. This makes me believe that this item "checks" your conduits when you buy it, not when you use it. So if you previously bought 5 at one time for example and only 4 were at the lowest item level, then the fifth one would be wasted.

So I read all the comments here, and I thought I understood what this does pretty well enough. I have 5 conduits at 171(rare) and the rest are 184(epic) . So I bought an extra one of these because I figured ok cool, it will upgrade any of my current rare conduits to an epic at this point since I have none lower. I used it, I saw it highlight and flash one of my current rares but it remained 171 rare. I thought surely I didn't make a mistake and see blue when it was green, It was 100% a rare conduit because it was the last one I had obtained through a pvp WQ. Just to be sure, I went and purchased another fragment, and I used it. Once again I saw the same rare ilvl 171 conduit flash an upgrade, Nothing else upgraded. I have the same amount of rare/epic conduits as i did the previous time. I see people commenting that this should upgrade to at least 184 if you have all rare+ discovered.

So can someone tell me why nothing is being upgraded for me? does this truly only cap out at 171 rare?

The information that this item won't let you upgrade conduits past item level 200 is false. I had every conduit at 200 and I was able to buy this item and use it to get a random conduit upgraded to 213.

Just to add another bad feature to this item - you CANNOT sell it back if you buy it by accident. Ve'nari will not want the item back

The great thing about this is how it's unique...
Meaning you can't just mass buy them and upgrade several conduits at once, you have to run between maw and your covenant hall for every single one...

I accidentally bought this instead of one of the other items. Ve'nari will not buy it back and refund your currency. I don't think I will want to use it for a long time, until all my conduits are reasonably high level. Caveat emptor!

I tried to delete the item and it does end up on the item restoration tool, but it doesn't add more than one to the list, so don't buy 10 to try reduce travel time and relying on the mailbox, it won't work that way as of the date of writing this comment.
