so i've been killing this guy for 7 days, on 4 different characters. Have yet to see it drop. Does anyone know if you need to be with Maldraxx Cov in order to be able to obtain this item? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

So many tries (almost 90) and nothing and I've never seen any loot for another person...

Spawn timer is longer than other cosmetic rares.

Just got the item today on my Necrolord character, literally on the same day after finishing the Covenant 8th chapter, which takes places in the same area (and even gives you a extra action button that turns all enemies neutral). It might've been just coincidence, or perhaps it's locked behind story progress. I was also wearing the disguise you get from completing said quest.

I just had it drop for me as well, off of Necromantic Anomaly, and I was using the costume given by the extra action button you get after you're done in that area(For the necro cov quest), or halfway through idr.

Also small side note, unlike the plaguepack from bubble, you cannot wear it as a non-necro. Even though they(non-necros) can see it as an appearance. :(

Dropped off Necromantic Anomaly today.
I’m thinking the requirement is just having the 8th necrolord story quest finished. It wouldn’t drop before and dropped my first kill after finishing said quest.

Saw it drop twice today. Killed in groups, unaware of the drop recipients' campaign progress/covenant. Will be continuing to farm every day until I get it.

As of right now, it seems that this item can only be ~~looted and~~ transmogged by players who are of the Necrolord covenant. I looted this today (on my Necro toon) and it was not shown in my wardrobe for my non-Necro alts.

Just got this today after getting my rank 3 transport portal to house of rituals. Prob has nothing to do with it but it finally dropped for my on my necro alt. Might be a necro only drop thing. Also completed the house of rituals campaign part
