I just summoned Zargox the Reborn on a platform (28.83, 51.53) using the Ani-matter Orb while the doing the quest "ani-matter animator"; he dropped this sweet looking item. I am part of the Necrolord covenant. He's got roughly 130k health.

I was able to get this drop on a Necrolord and transmog it, but I was not able to transmog it on a Night Fae.

I think you have drop chance only once a day, because first kill every day is giving me anima, but other kills give only trash. Can anyone confirm otherwise?

Ive been killing this rare for the last 11 days everyday and I am part of the Necrolord Covenant and havent gotten the drop, I feel like it isnt a 9% drop rate as ive seen countless others get the drop after I link him in chat after I summon him. Feelsbad

It took me around 14-17 days of killing the boss daily to get the drop

Hold up, I'm seeing multiple people mentioning the word "daily" in here. But this guy can be force spawned and killed (it takes around 20 bone piles). SO, question is, is it once per day that you have the chance for this, or you can just camp it?

I equipped them and I'm pretty sure they hide any sheathed in back weapons you have. I tried a few two handers and some sheathe on back one handers and they all stay hidden.

Am I the only one bothered that this back acts like it would be made out of rubber and not bones?
You can't see that if you Ctrl+Click it in outfitter, but when you actually transmog it, then it acts way different.
And it's also not attached to the back correctly (for female BE at least):

just got this and can confirm, when you move the "bones" move around like they're made of rubber. looks weird AF

This item and the other Necrolord wings are placed really poorly on a lot of race/gender combinations. They look like they're supposed to be attached to your back, but they're detached 6 inches, crooked, and off center. I don't really mind the rubbery animation but the placement makes it look totally bugged even while standing still.

复生白骨领主的战利品 drops from 重生者扎戈克斯.

If you want to spawn 重生者扎戈克斯, you should use 心能物质之球 to bone masses.
You have to take this quest 心能物质活化器 for obtain 心能物质之球.
You should talk with friendly skeletons after if you spawn any skeletons from bone masses.
Skeletons will run to rare's spawn point.
After few skeletons, there will be spawn another bigger bone mass. Use your 心能物质之球 while you closer to bone mess and wait for 重生者扎戈克斯.

Note : You don't need so much time for spawn 重生者扎戈克斯 . Usually it takes 5 or 10 minutes.

Sub-Note : This transmog piece only for Necrolords. Other covenant members can not obtain this item.
This piece can not usable on your another covenant characters but you can use it for your another Necrolords characters.

Okay so, I have killed this guy on my DH every day since the second day of release ending today, and he is Venthyr cov, also my warrior 1 week after Shadowlands release i also did it everyday since then without skips and he is also Venthyr. I just got my DK to lvl 60 2 days ago and have killed him twice and now got it and he is with Maldraxx cov.

If that is not enough confirmation then IDK what is.
