To summon 恐怖的哈利卡 you have to channel Anima to Wanecrypt Hill

Rare is flying near the cliff South of Wanecrypt Hill flight point.
It is immune to damage until you shoot it with 惧恐投石车.
To use 惧恐投石车 you have to bring 惧谷箭矢 to 碎翼.
惧谷箭矢 is scattered inside of a castle west of 惧恐投石车.
Has a chance to drop 可怖的惊惧之翼.

In order to kill Harika the Horrid you have to channel Anima to Wanecrypt Hill using the Venthyr covenant Anima Conductor.

There is currently a fairly common bug that makes Wingsmash just stare at the broken ballista. It is an issue on your shard and, as others have stated, going to a new one usually fixes this.

After channeling the anima all you gotta do is grab the bolt on the wall and give it to Wingsmash.
You can find the Dredhollow Bolt at 42.73, 73.39.
Hand in the bolt to Wingsmash at 46.31, 77.75 and select ''Let's Smash!'' talk.
He will run to the ballista and fire it, bringing down Harika the Horrid, it has 165k hp and is easily soloable. It has a chance to drop the Horrid Dredwing mount. It is also purchasable from the venthyr renown quartermaster Chachi the Artiste for 5000 Anima and 100 Grateful Offering.

Chachi the Artiste is the Venthyr Renown Quartermaster, and he sells this mount for 5,000 Reservoir Anima AND 100 Grateful Offering. You need both.

He is on the Sinfall Reaches level of Sinfall right next to the Sanctum Upgrades. (The big swirling red thing you deposit anima into. - coords (53, 24))

Obviously, you must be a Venthyr to gain access to this mount this way.

There is currently no required rep or renown level to buy this, just the anima and offerings.

I'm Venthyr and summoned the elite that can drop this mount, and some non-Venthyr guildies helped me with the kill. They couldn't loot anything except some vendor trash grays. So, appears to me that this elite only drops decent stuff (like anima) for Venthyr members. Can anyone confirm, or is this information already known?

In order to start the encounter to try and get this mount you need to be a part of the venthyr covenant and have the anima conductor built.

Once at the encounter, you begin it by talking to the big dude behind the ballista after you have a bolt for it, the bolts can be found in the village slightly to the west named dredhollow.

I was trying to get it for over a week on 4 chars, non-venthyrs, and nothing, finally leveled up my venthyr character, got it on my second kill, the first one that I actually summoned myself. Not sure how much help that is, but...yeah. Would probably recommend farming it on a venthyr.

Armored Bonehoof Tauralus - This can be bought from the Necrolord Renown Vendor OR rarely looted from the indariver as I was halfway through the list of mounts and found their comments which helped me finish up the other half of the list. :)

There is still speculation, whether only Venthyr characters can obtain this, or if other covenants are elible to loot this aswell, but here is what I have gathered so far.

From killing Harika the horrid for quite some time on 3 characters (1 kyrian, 1 necro, 1 venthyr) I saw:

- Mount looted only on characters that are Venthyr (I usually ask which covenant the person who looted the mount is, some respond, some don't),
- In most cases, the Venthyr that summoned Harika, looted the mount (This is probably just coincidence, sample size too low to prove anything),
- The rarity addon DOES NOT count the attempts when killing Harika on other covenants (attempts don't rise when killed on Kyrian and Necrolord)
- Not being able to loot the Grateful offerings on 2 characters that are not Venthyr.

To not waste time, I have personally decided to just do this rare once per day on my venthyr character, while being the one to summon him. I have not yet received the mount. So far I am roughly 16 attempts in on my Venthyr char.

EDIT: Unfortunately, this mount can drop twice for the same char. I wasn't in a grp, so I couldn't trade it to anyone, so I just had to delete. A part of me dies when this happens, but here was nothing I could do, since it was 31.12., and noone was willing to join / take part. Screenshot of the mount dropping while already being learned.

From my understanding in order for the mount to drop you have to
1) Be Venthyr
2) Channel the anima to the crypt otherwise Harika will show up has normal instead of rare and will only drop anima (no offering or mount in the loot pool)
3) You have one chance daily

The mount seems to be Venthyr only, and in the https://www.wowhead.com/shadowlands-mount-guide it is classified as a Venthyr only mount.
Also would not make sense to be a global mount if only the Venthyr could buy it directly with 5k anima from quatermaster.

I was literally about to buy this from Chachi (Venthyr rep) when it dropped for me. Save me 5000 anima and 100 offerings.

Choose this as one of your first permanent anima channels and you can farm it every day.

So the conclusion that I'm drawing is that all the anima conductor related mounts can only drop for people with the related covenant but everyone will be able to buy them from the vendor.

I can confirm that only venthyr can loot and learn this mount. I grouped with someone because I already had it and wanted to trade it if it dropped but they were non-venthyr and it would not let me trade it. Drop rate seems decent as it has dropped for me 3 times on my venthyr character.

I know someone is Kyrian with his paladin but his alt is a warrior Venthyr and he obtained the mount by defeating Harika.

He use the mount on his Kyrian Paladin characters Because mounts are account bound.

I thought this was interesting....my main is a Venthyr, and have the Horred Dredwing.

Been playing a Maldraxxi alt, and he can access the Dredwing, but cannot ride the Gargons I own.

So, I guess other Covenents "can" get the bat...

I use the rarity addon that counts the attempts I've had on the mount, and I killed Harika today on my Necrolord and it did not count as an attempt. I then killed it on my Venthyr and it counted as an attempt. So I'm not sure if other covenants are eligible to loot the mount. Having said that, if you need grateful offerings you can still get a chance to get these off the other covenant summoned rares (like Harika, Gieger, etc).

Question; have any other Venthyr leather wearers had an issue with this mount dropping? I've had the 'dreadbatskin jerkin' drop 15 times (twice now it's dropped four days IN A ROW). Husband plays a DK and has had the mount drop 3 times now.

Seems like if you wear leather you have an even lower percentage chance of the mount dropping, but idk.

Only drops for Venthyr players. But after you've learnt it, non-venthyr players can mount up on it.

This mount is the same as 野生烁裘徘徊者 as in you can either get it from a vendor or from a rare drop, however, the Valfir mount can be obtained and learned on characters below max level and nobody mentioned the same here in the comments so far

This is the last rare I got left to get in SL. Valfir done, Gieger done, Sundacer done and so on. I currently have 144 attempts on my Venthyr DH. Why I haven't bought it? I wanted to upgrade everything and buy the anima mounts first. Now I want to see just how many attempts it will be before she drops. Great to kill right before checking BMAH daily :)

At least as of season 4 of SL, you can buy this mount from the quartermaster for 5k anima and some grateful offerings. Do not waste your time farming the rare.

OK, so now that we're near the end of the expansion, it makes sense that we have enough information to tell people how to actually get this mount! Yes, you have to be Venthyr because the rare that has a chance to drop it comes from the Anima Conductor. However, once you obtain the mount, it looks like you can use it on your alts. (All covenant specific mounts that previously could not be used on alts can now be used on alts as long as you have reached Renown 80 at least once in that covenant.)

I REALLY wanted to come and post about where to BUY this mount, though. There are apparently 2 "Quartermasters" in Sinfall. You need to specifically buy it from Chachi the Artiste the RENOWN Quartermaster. I started in Ardenweald where the two quartermasters are right next to each other, so I totally forgot there were two in each area and kept going to the "Sinfall Quartermaster" not realizing that he was a totally different guy and I wasted my time leveling up an alt because my campaign ended up bugged at 8/9 and I've been waiting weeks for help from Blizzard. (Don't level up an alt for this! I can see the mount on my main now after switching covenants and looking at the correct vendor!) If you end up at the Sinfall Quartermaster, named Gregor the Pallidblade, then use the mirror to go to the other level and head over to the right guy that is next to where you turn in anima. (Can you tell that I am NOT a Venthyr normally?)

You CAN get this mount from Chachi the Artiste even if you change covenants and are Renown 1! I would suggest, though, if you are collecting mounts, then you should go through the entire campaign anyway to get all of the mounts available for Venthyr. You can easily start at Renown 60 by buying Broker Mark of Distinction from Au'Dara in Oribos for only 500 gold before flying over to Sinfall! (You can do this for all of the covenants and get the mounts up to Renown 60 super fast!)
