This is a nice sturdy rusty chain, that you can use on your battle-pets.

Uhhh, is this supposed to be consumed on use?
I used on a pet, it appeared briefly on the pet, then disappeared from both the pet and inventory.

the void tendril leashes from BFA 8.3 assaults were also consumed on use 虚空触须宠物绳 ,
but eventually i found a toy version :D 虚空触须宠物绳

i wonder if same might be true for the heavy chain leash

You can use this on a battle pet as a cosmetic leash, but I couldn't use a flight point mount (said I was busy with another taxis service or something like that) with the leashed battle pet out. I had to dismiss it to fly again, and when I re-summoned the leash was gone.
