All epic legendary jokes aside, at the moment "The item is consumed on use and doesn't provide any indication that the item is active. It persists through log outs, but is removed the moment you leave Nazjatar and must be repurchased to use again."

I mean, why? Increase the price a bit more and make the effect permanent, or why not an "all zones" version of this? For a more expensive price? Just a humble suggestion, of course.

I bought one and right-clicked it. It went away with no indicators of anything. The only underwater mount I can think of is my Vashj'ir Seahorse. It still doesn't work in Nazjatar. What am I missing (besides 5 manapearls)?

At least as of posting this, underwater mounts lose their swim speed bonus (in Nazjatar waters) once you've used the deepcoral, in effect behaving just like normal mounts with regards to water. (Elsewhere is unaffected.) Fixed as of this edit, underwater swim speed is as expected.

However!

If you have flight unlocked, this allows underwater mounts to fly in Nazjatar also!

Does not affect 海龟 (and I assume it would not affect 乌龟坐骑 either but I have no confirmation on this). No flying turtles for us Pathfinder folks it appears.

Anyone else that this sometimes randomly stops working and you start getting the "You can only use while swimming error" again?

Relogging seems to fix the problem.

Just to clarify: This item makes all of your underwater mounts (besides the Vashj'ir exclusive ones) useable anywhere in Nazjatar, meaning even outside water! Enjoy flying with your Sharkboi!

Does not work on the 海龟 or the 乌龟坐骑 unfortunately. I would have loved to have a flying turtle, but alas no such luck.

I was trying to find a way to see if the item was account bound or, if not, which alt had purchased this item. My main already had it.

First, the alt (who had not bought it) could not use an underwater mount in Nazjatar.
This proved the budding deepcoral is NOT account wide and that THIS alt had not bought one yet.

But second, Finder Pruc will no longer even show the item to that alt after she had learned it.
So if you can see it, your alt should be safe to buy it.

So I bought/used this and the only underwater mount I had at the time was my Vashj'ir Seahorse, forgetting that it was only usable in Vashj'ir. Now I have a different underwater mount, but I'm still unable to "fly" it in Nazjatar, and when I go to the vendor, the item isn't there anymore. Anyone else having this issue? Is there a fix, or am I doomed?

To make the most of this item, i rigged up this macro:

/cast Pond Nettle
/script UIErrorsFrame:Hide()
/cast Mechanized Lumber Extractor
/cast Llothien Prowler

Not perfect, but it:
1. Summons swimming mount in Nazjatar
~~2. if hit outside of Nazjatar, in a flying zone, gives the warning about not being able to mount in a non swimmable area but still summons flying mount~~
3. if hit in a no fly zone, summons ground mount
4. Only issue is when in a swimming zone outside of Nazjatar, you have to be on land to go from a swimming mount to flying mount.

Hopefully I can update later with a cleaner script (or any suggestions gladly accepted), but for now I hope it is useful for someone else.

Did they remove this item and made it permament that you can fly underwatermounts? Because today I'm able to fly my Brinedeep Bottom-Feeder and all other underwatermounts in Nazjatar without the item

Hi all, I'm currently unable to purchase this from the vendor, even when filtering for 'all'. Do I need to have completed a certain quest or something? Any advice would be appreciated!

Here's a list of the mounts this applies to:
Aquatic Mounts
(excluding, of course, the two turtles, which can be used on land (just slowly), and the Vashj'ir Seahorse, which can only be used in Vashj'ir).
