All I have to say is...
WHAT IS WITH THE BUYOUT PRICE?
I wish they were that cheap... I'd buy them for all my chars.
EDIT: Ranting aside, these are a pretty good pair of leggings, and they are BoE so you can attach armor pieces like Nethercobra.
If you don't attach leg armor, these will be replaced pretty soon with Outland pants, but they are pretty good for a Rogue or Cat Druid.
If you can get a group/80 for Stratholme, Scholomance and other level 57~ish dungeons, Shadowcraft is good for aformentioned parties.
These, coupled with the Devilsaur Gauntlets, used to be the best Preraiding leather peices a rogue could get back in the day. They are still extremely useful for leveling, but due to the lack of players farming Devilsaur leather, they are rarely seen. They give 84 AP, Just over 2% crit/hit as well. Great for leveling if you can get your hands on a pair.
While the "same model" cut might indicate equivalents exist we always need to double check. Colour for example might matter for careful transmoggers.
This will also be of interest to the newer Monk melee class, seeking some Old Skool gear given that it is leather and has Agility and thus is appropriate for mogging.
Comment borrowed from user MrFoof82 from the Devilsaur Gauntlets page;
Prior to The Burning Crusade, the Devilsaur Set was not worth breaking (for PvE) until you had either:
* Bloodfang Pants
* Aged Core Leather Gloves (prior to the weapon skill nerf)
* Bloodfang Pants
* Doomhide Gauntlets
Yep. They were *that* good. And nowadays they're still a pretty solid set for what amounts to about 60 minutes of work in Un'goro Crater (if you know how the devilsaurs path).
